It’s just so good.. But I just can’t!
I have the utmost respect for Logitech for creating their Ultimate Ears Hyperboom because as a single unit it works so dang good that it fills up my house and my multiple workplaces that I go through on a day to day basis. But however there are times where the app itself would be dealing with constant connection issues while connecting to other Ultimate Ears products through their Party Mode option. I really want to give a positive review for the app itself but it needs a new refresh of an update, both connectivity and UI speaking. Please Logitech, a lot of us are fans of your products! So let us be a fan of your app too! There is still room for improvement and you have us as your fan base and audience to take suggestions from. We don’t want the app to act like it’s taking its time to come creeping out and start stabbing deeply in our hearts with constant interruptions. That’s all we ask!
P.S. The battery on the Hyperboom is a beast!
What happened?
I got the new EpicBoom and loved the NFC pairing feature- I’d come home and tap my phone already playing music and my Epicboom would pair and play what I was just listening to within a few seconds. Now I have to open my Bluetooth settings and select the speaker every time… other than that little inconvenience I still love this speaker.

Can’t turn speaker off - patched!
Just bought a Megaboom 3 and the app doesn’t turn the speaker off. It puts it in standby but its constantly turned on so the battery is always dead when I want to use it. Apparently this is a new feature? Why is turning on a portable speaker with a button more inconvenient that having dead batteries all the time? Update: In Sept 2023, UE added a “Bluetooth standby” toggle which appears to actually turn off Bluetooth entirely and therefore save battery life when not in use. Here’s to not starting a trip with a dead battery!
