Tom and Jerry: Volumes 1-6

Butch dresses as a baby and leaves himself on the doorstep as a means of gaining entry to the refrigerator but Jerry teams up with Tom to foil his plans.

Jerry narrates the rough times Tom is going through as he loses his girlfriend to his rival Butch.

Jerry uses a whistle given to him by a grateful bulldog to stop Tom from chasing him.

Tom needs Jerry to sign a paper as an apology to get into heaven after he gets squished by a piano or he will go to hell.

Lost at sea on a life raft, Tom washes ashore on a desserted island where he meets up with Jerry, posing as a cannibal.

Jerry's cousin, Muscles Mouse, pays him a visit and helps out with his problems with Tom.

Tom will inherit a million dollars if he doesn't harm any living thing, including Jerry.

Tom gets a new suit to impress a girl cat after she doesn't accept Jerry as a gift.

Jerry decides to move out of the country, and into New York City. He writes a note for Tom, telling him about his departure. He arrives in the city to have bad luck everywhere. He is chased by traffic, chased by cats, hit with different things, and is shot at by the police. Jerry knows that the city is just not for him. He goes back to the country, and tears the note he wrote for Tom to shreds. It's good to be home.

Tom and Spike the bulldog compete to catch Jerry because the one who does capture the mouse will stay in the house while the other gets kicked outside.

Jerry's Uncle Pecos keeps having his guitar strings snapped so Tom keeps losing his whiskers to replace them.

Tom uses Jerry as a tee at the golf course but soon after things start to go poorly for the cat.

Tom catches Jerry but the house canary saves the mouse and then Tom chases both of them.

Tom is attacking Jerry with everything that's in the house. He throws vases, paper airplanes, lamps, and anything he can get his hands on to get Jerry. Basically, it's like a war is going on. Jerry retaliates by using a cheese grater, and using fireworks to fight Tom back with. (I.E. Yankee Doodle Mouse) They do the same thing fighting back and forth for the rest of the episode. It ends with Jerry winning the battle, as he blows up Tom using the fireworks, turning him into an American Flag.

Jerry is bored and lonely after Tom gets booted from the house so he decides to get him back inside.

Tom steals a witch's flying broom so he can scare the wits out of Jerry.

A narrator tells the story of a Waltzing mouse named Johann (Jerry) lived in Vienna in Johann Strauss home. Tom try to catch the mouse each time he's dancing but a day in absence of Johann Strauss, Tom decided to learn to playing piano for catch him.

Jerry wants to help Tom out as a conductor at the Hollywood Bowl but the cat is having none of it.

Tom, Jerry, and Spike sign a truce but things change quickly when a big steak is dropped by their house.

Jerry must train a young mouse to earn the title of mouseketeer despite the efforts of Tom to stop it.

Tom needs to keep Jerry off a Honolulu bound ship or he will no longer be the mascot.

Jerry drinks a potion that makes him grow to the size of a giant. He decides to go after Tom, because THIS time he's bigger. Once the potion wears off, Tom drinks some of it, and he gets bigger. They do this over and over again. Academy Award nominee for 1948 Best Short Subject.

A baby elephant falls from a passing train and rolls into Tom and Jerry's life.

Jerry teaches Nibbles how to outwit a cat.

Jasper (Tom) is threatened with being thrown outside if he breaks one more thing and Jerry does his best to make sure the cat is tossed outside.

It is Christmas Eve and Tom gets to know the spirit of giving after he tosses Jerry outside in the cold when he catches him trying to get to a present.

A younger cat looks to Tom to teach him how to properly catch mice.

Jerry tries to break up Tom and his new girlfriend cat by getting an alley cat to fight for her affections.

Tom and Jerry are at the bowling alley as mayhem ensues.

Jerry needs a young mousketeer to be an errand boy to get to his love but Tom stands in his way.

A babysitter more concerned with the phone leaves Tom and Jerry to watch the baby.

Tom hires an exterminator, another cat, to get rid of Jerry.

Spike's pool side barbecue is wrecked as Tom chases Jerry through it.

Jerry saves a baby duck from Tom as the cat prepares to eat it.

Tom and Butch try to impress a girl with their muscle building abilities.

Tom is hungry for a duck meal and Quacker, Jerry's friend, plans to head south for the winter unlike all the other ducks.

Tom chases Jerry right into a dog pound. Jerry makes himself comfortable once there, knowing that Tom will never follow him in. Tom thinks of something, though. He puts on a dog mask, and acts like a dog, going into the pound. After chasing Jerry for a while, he tells all the dogs that Tom's really a cat under the mask. All of the dogs chase Tom out of the pound.

Tom fakes a sneeze to stay in the house and Jerry comes to give him a hand in looking sick.

Tom and Spike compete to catch Jerry so they can stay instead of getting kicked out by their owners.

Jerry pretends to be a chick so the mother hen protects him from Tom.

Tom accidentally grabs Tyke, Spike the bulldog's son, when he is trying to get to Jerry.

Jerry is forced to take care of a baby woodpecker and try to avoid Tom while doing it.

Hunting in the woods, Tom wounds a duckling, little Quacker, who is doctored by Jerry.

Tom and his alley cat pals are laughing as they watch home movies involving Tom outwitting Spike but Jerry decides to let the bulldog know about it.

Jerry decides to have a midnight snack of cheese but Tom presents a problem with that idea.

After Tom gets scared from listening to The Witching Hour on the radio Jerry schemes a way to keep him scared.

Tom and Jerry form a truce after an angry bulldog chases both of them.

A cute little kitten causes Tom and Jerry to compete for her affections.

Tom has been out all night but if he is caught sleeping he'll be kicked out so Jerry tries his best to make him fall asleep.
