Description
As the mythology of ThunderCats, the original animated action-adventure series, continues in ThunderCats: The Complete Second Season, Volume 2, Mumm-Ra has been saved by the Ancient Spirits of Evil and is more intent than ever to defeat the ThunderCats and control the Third Earth. Although he is able to shape-shift and transform himself into members of Lion-O’s trusted inner circle, like Panthro and Jaga, Mumm-Ra is still no match for the powerful Sword of Omens and the Eye of Thundera. Or is he?
This collection will excite both original viewers of the series and first-time fans. Along with 25 outstanding episodes is the multi-episode “Return to Thundera,” in which an unstable environment forces the Cats to go airborne and encounter a force field. Lion-O must abandon his sword to get it past Mumm-Ra — can he regain possession or will the tremors of New Thundera be beyond his control? There’s only one way to find out. ThunderCats, ho!
