To bowl or not to bowl…In response to his thoughtless birthday gift, Marge teaches Homer a lesson by taking up bowling under the hands-on tutelage of Jacques, a suave bowling instructor, who tries to pick up more than just a spare. A giddily heartrending romance about splitting up, striking out, getting together, and the true meaning of brunch!

Lisa grows concerned when she observes stealing in everyday life, like Marge eating grapes in the supermarket. Concerned for her family's soul, she vows to no longer watch Homer's illegal cable, no matter how enticing the shows are. Homer invites all his friends over to watch an exciting heavyweight fight, but the sight of Lisa staring mournfully from the front yard robs him of his joy.

For his birthday, Bart gets a microphone which he uses to play pranks, including convincing the Flanders boys that he is God. He wins the sympathy of the whole town and well-meaning celebrities including Sting, by pretending to be a boy who fell in a well. Then Bart actually falls in the well and nobody cares.

Homer starts a thriving snowplow business, only to have his best friend Barney start a rival service, complete with commercials featuring Linda Ronstadt. Homer is so jealous he sends Barney into an avalanche and certain death, then repents and risks his own life to save his friend's.

Homer goes undercover to reveal that Apu is selling tainted meat at his convenience store. Apu loses his job, and lives with the Simpsons until he and Homer go to India to appeal to the head of the Kwik-E-Mart corporation. Featuring the Emmy®-nominated song "Who Needs The Kwik-E-Mart?"

The Simpsons visit a local fortune teller, who describes Lisa's wedding in the future. She is engaged to a charming British man, but her family inadvertently mucks it up, and Lisa realizes she will have to wait a little longer to find true love.

In the conclusion of the cliff-hanger which ended season six, we learn the identity of Mr. Burns' mysterious assailant. The culprit turns out to be the sweetest little suspect of all.

Homer begins to suspect that Bart is gay. When a visit to a steel mill to boost Bart's manliness backfires, Homer takes his son on a camping trip to "straighten him out."

The family travels to New York to get Homer's car back. Homer recalls a terrifying experience he had in Manhattan when he was younger.
