PBS Kids: Halloween

Dad takes the kids on a special Night Train to Troodon Town, where the Troodons have decorated their Roundhouse into a “haunted house” for a spooky party. The kids end up meeting a strange new nocturnal creature – a mammal named Vlad Volaticotherium, who was hiding in the roundhouse trying to get some sleep. The Pteranodon family learns more about the customs of their neighbors, the Lambeosaurus family, when they are invited for the first time to accompany them to the Big Pond to celebrate “Gourd Day” – a kind of Mesozoic Halloween. The kids see their first pumpkins, and Larry Lambeosaurus even shows our family how to hollow them out and carve faces into them.

It's Halloween in Storybrook Village and Pig is so frightened, he won't go Trick or Treating with his friends! The Super Readers pay a storybook visit to Little Ghost, who's a bit of a scaredy cat himself, to teach him there's more to Halloween than meets the eye!

When a bat gets trapped in the Tortuga HQ, the Wild Kratts team has to overcome its various negative feelings about the winged mammals in order to help him back out into the wild.

Tales of Grotesquely Grim Bunny: When the local comic book store changes ownership, the new darker and scarier comics are right up Fern's alley. But Arthur can't seem to stomach them and now he's worried. Is it wrong to be afraid? Maybe his friends will be more supportive than he realizes. / Pet Projects: Arthur and Francine enter their pets to compete against each other in the "Perfect Pet" video contest. Pal is SO cute and Nemo knows so many tricks! Who will win? But after jumping through hoops - literally - Nemo and Pal decide that enough is enough. Can't their owners love them for who they are? Daniel and Katerina are at Miss Elaina's Museum-Go-Round to make their costumes for Dress Up Day. While Daniel and Miss Elaina know exactly what they want to be, Katerina is having a harder time deciding on just the right costume. Eventually she comes up with a very clever idea! It's Dress Up Day in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and it's time for the annual main street parade! The children visit all the stores, showing off their fancy costumes and receiving different stickers from their neighbors.

The Parade Problem - Peg and Cat need to sort out recyclables to clean up the park in time for the nursery school's Halloween Parade. The Halloween Problem - While trick or treating, Peg and Cat find themselves pursued by a metal monster. Later they teach fair sharing to a "friend" who turns out to be a real tiger!
