Sex and the City, Best of Carrie

In the pilot episode of this hit comedy series, New York City sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw and her friends vow to stop worrying about finding the perfect mate--and start having sex like men. Carrie meets Mr. Big, Miranda warms up to Skipper and Samantha has a one-night-stand with a man Charlotte wouldn't sleep with on the first date.

In the Season One finale, Mr. Big introduces Carrie to his mother as his friend, causing Carrie to ponder just where their relationship is headed. Miranda breaks up with Catholic Guy because of his sexual hang-ups. Charlotte is dismayed to discover that all the fortune-tellers in the city agree on one thing--her eternal status as a single woman.

In the Season Two finale of this hit comedy series, Big reveals to Carrie that he and 26-year-old Natasha are engaged. Meanwhile, Miranda and Steve get back together and Samantha gets involved with Mr. Too Big.

Carrie's affair with Big puts a strain on her relationship with Aidan--prompting her to seek out advice from the one person she knows will lay down the law: Miranda. Charlotte's wedding plans go awry. Miranda realizes that she is attracted to a man in a sandwich costume. Samantha considers taking an AIDS test.

Charlotte's fast-approaching wedding continues to cause trouble as the bride has a fallout with Samantha over the proper way to wear a bridesmaid's dress while also discovering that Trey may need a dose (or two) of Viagra. Meanwhile, Carrie regrets her decision to confess to Aidan about her affair with Big.

Samantha's experiment with novelty nipples wins her a man's affection. Meanwhile, Carrie's leap into the information age reunites her with Aidan; Charlotte and Trey take the next step in their marriage; and Miranda ponders the allure of the ass.

Samantha's relationship with Richard has her considering monogamy, although he may not be feeling the same way. Carrie, on the other hand, is forced to face her fear of commitment.

In the Season Four finale, Mr. Big makes a move that leaves Carrie considering what might have been. Meanwhile, Samantha's relationship hits a snag, Charlotte begins dating again and Miranda prepares for motherhood.

Carrie moves to Paris with Aleksandr, but things quickly turn out not quite as she expected; Samantha delivers a heartfelt speech at a benefit for breast-cancer research; Charlotte and Harry continue their quest to adopt a child; and Big meets with Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda to make a major decision.

In the series finale, Carrie finds that life in Paris--and with Aleksandr--leaves her longing for the familiar faces of home. Meanwhile, Smith shows Samantha just how much he cares for her; Charlotte and Harry's adoption roller-coaster ride continues; and Miranda makes a tough decision to help Steve's ailing mother.
