A Night At the Katz Motel, Muriel, Eustace and Courage check into a motel run by a sinister cat named Katz. It turns out to be a VERY long night when Katz turns his spiders lose on them. Cajun Granny Stew, A fox cooks up a delicious, Cajun Granny Stew, to enter in a cooking contest, but he's missing one ingredient: the Granny. Enter Muriel. Courage must save her from ending up in the pot.

The Shadow of Courage, When an evil, rich old man suffers a heart attack, his shadow escapes from him. The evil shadow descends on the farm, terrorizing our happy threesome. Le Quack, When Muriel is struck on the head by a flying piece of the farmhouse roof, she comes down with amnesia. Courage summons help, which arrives in the form of a French con artist duck posing as a doctor.

Courage Meets Bigfoot, A hungry Bigfoot turns up at the farm. Courage is terrified at first, but befriends the gentle monster and must save him from the Farmer and an angry mob. Hothead, The Farmer goes to a hair institute that promises hair growth, dragging Courage along with him. The consequences that follow are hair-raising.

The Demon in the Mattress, Muriel needs a new mattress. The one she orders comes with a bonus: a demon, which takes over her body. Courage must find a way to get rid of the demon and the new mattress. Freaky Fred, Muriel's nephew Fred comes for a visit at the farm. Fred is a deranged barber; he and Courage get locked in the bathroom, much to Courage's distress.

Night of the Weremole, Muriel is bitten by what she thinks is a rabbit while gardening. She is transformed into a weremole (that was no rabbit!), and Courage must find the antidote. Mother's Day, The Farmer goes to visit his mother on Mother's Day, taking a reluctant Courage along with him.

The Duck Brothers, Duck brothers from outer space kidnap Muriel - they've come to Nowhere to rescue their brother. Courage must save Muriel, and ends up helping the brothers as well. Shirley the Medium, While digging in search of his lost yo-yo, Courage happens upon a locked box that belonged to the Farmer's deceased brother Horst. The Farmer tries to open the box, believing it contains his brother's money, but cannot get it open. He hires a psychic to channel Horst. When the box is finally opened, the Farmer gets a surprise.

King Ramses' Curse, An ancient artifact is stolen from a museum; Courage discovers it buried outside the house. Unfortunately it carries a curse with it, and the Farmer refuses to return it, believing he can claim a fortune for it. The curse descends... The Clutching Foot, The Farmer's foot is engulfed by a fungus, which goes on to swallow up his entire body. Courage must personally provide the distasteful cure.

The Hunchback of Nowhere, A hunchback knocks at the farmhouse door on a rainy night. The Farmer turns him away, but Courage discovers Hunchy in the hayloft. Much to the Farmer's disgust, Courage befriends the hunchback. The Gods Must be Goosey, A lonely goose god looks down from the heavens and, spying Muriel, decides she must be his queen. He descends to woo her and carry her off, and Courage must find a way to prevent it.

The Queen of the Black Puddle, After a rainstorm, a puddle queen materializes at the farm. She woos the Farmer and drags him down into her puddle world. Muriel is heartbroken, so Courage must save the Farmer. Everyone Wants to Direct, A famous film director (who is really a zombie) comes to the farm, proclaiming that he wants to shoot his next film there. The farmer accepts greedily when he is promised money, unaware that the film is a pretext for the director and his zombie partner to devour Muriel.

The Snowman Cometh, Muriel, Courage and the Farmer are vacationing in the Arctic. Under the threat of global warming, an evil snowman tries to save himself by stealing the human, anti-melting, gene from them. The Precious, Wonderful, Adorable, Lovable Duckling, The Farmer cracks open an egg to cook breakfast, and a little duckling pops out, instantly claiming the Farmer as his, Mama. The sweet little duckling turns out to want the Farmer all to himself, and he plots to get rid of Muriel and Courage.

Heads of Beef, The Farmer and Courage go into town for a hamburger. The diner the Farmer chooses serves up strange-looking burgers, and Courage suspects evil doings. Klub Katz, Vacationing on a cruise ship that sinks, Muriel, Courage and the Farmer end up on a deserted island. The one inhabitant they find is...Katz, who runs an unusual, resort. Their stay at his spa leaves them feeling not quite like themselves...

The Revenge of the Chicken From Outer Space, The chicken from outer space returns to seek revenge on Courage. This time he wants Courage's head to replace the one Courage blew up. Journey to the Center of Nowhere, Muriel lovingly tends to her eggplant garden, preparing to cook them. An army of angry eggplants overhears her plans and plots an attack on Muriel, their, sworn enemy.

Little Muriel, A tornado rips through Nowhere, destroying the farmhouse and turning Muriel into a little girl again - just three-and-a-half years old. Courage must find a way to bring back his, old, Muriel. The Great Fusilli, A travelling stage arrives at the farm, manned by an evil stagemaster who turns Muriel and the Farmer into puppets. Courage must save the day once again.

The Magic Tree of Nowhere, Muriel orders new kitchen curtains and receives free seeds as a bonus, which grow into a magic tree. The tree begins making wishes come true, infuriating the Farmer into repeated attempts to cut it down. Courage does his best to protect the tree, building a fortress around it replete with a moat and singing eel. Muriel falls ill with a mysterious sickness, and Courage must find a cure -- which ultimately only the tree can provide. Robot Randy, Robot Randy, a failure on his own planet, is sent to Earth to conquer it and prove his merit. He lands at the Farm and takes over, making the Family his slaves. But Randy doesn't really want to conquer any planets, all he wants to do is carve wooden figures. Courage must find a way to help them all.

Curse of Shirley, Shirley returns to the Farmhouse in the guise of a beggar. Muriel and Courage each give her something, but the Farmer slams the door in her face. She puts a curse on him that can only be undone if he learns to give of himself. Courage in the Big Stinkin' City, Muriel wins a contest and is invited to play her sitar at Radio City Music Hall. The family comes to NYC and is immediately led astray by a crooked giant cockroach, who takes them hostage until Courage runs a dangerous, errand, for him. Courage must get the job done and save Muriel in time for her show.

Family Business, A confused burglar fleeing the law breaks into the Farmhouse and mistakes the Family for his own relatives. He decides the Family should pull a heist together, and enlists the Family to help him pull his biggest job yet. A Thousand Years of Courage, The Family is buried under one thousand years of sediment after a giant meteor bounces off earth spinning it into the future. Courage digs them out, up to the surface, to discover a world of Banana People. They soon find out if you're not a banana person, you're compost. The Family must find a way to get safely home.

Courage Meets the Mummy, A mummy returns from the dead to seek revenge on the two people who wrongfully entombed him thousands of years ago -- two people who bore an uncanny resemblance to Muriel and the Farmer. They decide to try past life regression so the truth can be revealed, and learn that the Mummy was framed. Muriel apologizes, and the Mummy returns to eternal rest. Invisible Muriel, Muriel is whipping up a batch of her secret recipe dog food for the County Dog Food Contest. Courage discovers a glowing blue stone and gives it to Muriel, which renders her invisible. The stone turns out to be top-secret government property, and Muriel is kidnapped in an effort to retrieve the stone. Believing they're after her dog food recipe, she refuses to talk. Courage must find a way to rescue Muriel.

The Human Habitrail, A sinister salesman (who is a gerbil) arrives at the Farm peddling vacuums. During his pitch, the salesman shrinks Muriel and the Farmer and sucks them up into his vacuum. Courage must find a way to rescue them. Mission to the Sun, Courage and the Family are selected by NASA to go on a dangerous space mission to save the Sun. While in flight, Muriel becomes infected with an alien bacterium, which tries to sabotage the mission.

Courage the Fly, The kid down the block accidentally turns Courage into a fly while experimenting with his new science kit. While buzzing around, he over-hears military personnel discussing a secret satellite that is accidentally plunging to earth, headed straight for the Farmhouse. Courage must find a way to save them all. Katz Kandy, Katz returns as an evil confectioner, determined to eliminate his chief competitor for first prize in the, Nowhere Sweets Contest, -- Muriel. He concocts a mutant jam that swallows her up and kidnaps her, bringing her to Katz's shop, where he tries to force her to reveal her secret ingredient.

Nowhere TV, The biggest lottery in Nowhere history is about to be announced, and the Family is anxious to learn if they've won. But their TV breaks, and the repairman arrives in the form of our favorite thief, Le Quack. Mega Muriel the Magnificent, The Computer decides to take over Muriel's body, to show the world what it can do. To Courage's horror, Muriel begins performing death-defying stunts and is featured on the Nowhere News. Courage must find a way to free Muriel from the computer's clutches and save her.

Bad Hair Day, Because of her rare blood type, Muriel is kidnapped and taken to a Hair Farm to be used for growing hair. The Farmer and Courage track her down at the Hair Farm, only to find it is being run by the Farmer's mother. Together they must find a way to rescue her. The Forbidden Hat of Gold, The Farmer sees a TV show about a long-lost golden hat worth millions, and takes the Family on a wild adventure to find it. After an arduous journey, they finally arrive at the city and the Farmer manages to steal the golden mask, angering the monks who guard it. The Farmer refuses to return the mask, and the monks demand Muriel as a human sacrifice. Courage must find a way to save her and return the mask.

Serpent of Evil River, The Family signs up for a free sea-faring vacation, but instead of being guests, they end up having to serve as the ship's crew. Led by the single-minded Captain Sharky, they're forced to help him hunt for an evil sea serpent. The Transplant, While digging near the Farmhouse, Courage unearths a bone from a giant kangaroo, which Dr. Vindaloo then uses during a back surgery transplant on the Farmer. The transplant turns the Farmer into a giant kangaroo monster, who grabs Muriel and sets off on a path of destruction around the globe. Courage must become a kangaroo monster himself to try to defeat the Farmer kangaroo monster and save Muriel.

Car Broke. Phone. Yes?, A strange visitor arrives at the Farm, claiming to have car trouble. Courage later discovers the visitor is really a floating alien brain on a mission to collect human qualities. The brain manages to extract the best part of Muriel - her kindness -- leaving her just as cruel as the Farmer. Together, they make Courage's life miserable, forcing him to be their servant. Cowboy Courage, After Muriel reads him a bedtime story about cowboys, Courage dreams of being a brave lawman hired by the town of Nowhere to protect them from an outlaw seeking revenge.

The Evil Weevil, The Family nearly runs over a giant weevil with their truck, prompting Muriel to invite the bug to the Farmhouse to recover from his injuries. The Weevil turns out to be a highly refined Oxford graduate, and the perfect guest. But the Farmer begins to look shriveled and is gradually reduced to just his skin. Courage discovers the Weevil has been feeding on the Farmer at night while he sleeps! The Weevil begins moving in on Muriel, and Courage must find a way to stop the bug. The McPhearson Phantom, A vengeful ghost harasses Muriel by sabotaging everything she does for the Farmer. His laundry makes him break out in a rash, his newly polished shoes explode on his feet, and there are lobsters in his bath. The Farmer grows increasingly suspicious and suspects Muriel of trying to get rid of him. They stop talking to each other, leaving Courage to act as intermediary. Courage discovers it is a ghost causing all the misery. He must find out why and stop the ghost before it breaks his family apart.

The House of Discontent, On the eve of the orange Harvest Moon, a traditional ceremony where the best crops are offered in exchange for luck, the Farmer has nothing to give. The House begins terrorizing the Family, threatening that if they cannot grow something by midnight, they must leave. Muriel and Courage immediately begin to grow a plant, but the Farmer's pride makes him sabotage all their efforts. When the deadline passes, the Family finds themselves locked in their own home, with the heat turned up. It is up to Courage to appease the Spirit with an offering and prevent the Farm and the Family from melting. The Sand Whale Strikes, A giant sand whale arrives at the Farm, demanding the return of his accordion, which the Farmer's father won in a crooked card game years before. The Farmer doesn't want to give it back, it has sentimental value for him. The whale warns that if the accordion isn't returned in 24 hours, he will swallow the Farmer and his family until he does. The Farmer refuses. He and Muriel get swallowed, but Courage manages to get away. Courage must return the accordion and save his family.

The Tower of Dr. Zalost, Pink cannonballs fly from a huge tower and rain down on the people of Nowhere, turning them gray and depressed. Behind this scheme is Dr. Zalost, a sinister scientist who is so miserable, he wants everyone else to be miserable, too. Muriel is hit and slumps into a deep depression. Courage must find a cure. (22 Minute Episode)

"Muriel Meets Her Match" Maria and her husband Mano, on the lam from the law, park their trailer next door to the Farmhouse. Maria disguises herself as Muriel in order to steal a diamond, and Muriel is arrested. Courage must get the mix-up straightened out so Muriel can be exonerated. "Courage vs. Mecha-Courage" The Farmer decides to replace Courage with atechnologically superior dog. Courage must prove his merit.

"Campsite of Terror" While on a family camping trip, Muriel is kidnapped by two raccoons searching for a surrogate mother. Courage must rescue her from the raccoons. "The Record Deal" The Farmer brings home an old Velvet Vic record. When the record is played, Velvet Vic emerges, after many years of being stuck inside the record. Muriel becomes trapped inside the record in his stead, and Courage must find a way to get her out.

"Stormy Weather" A storm goddess, while searching for her lost dog, sees Courage and wants him instead. Muriel must find a way to prevent her from carrying Courage away. "The Sandman Sleeps" The Sandman is suffering from insomnia and decides to steal Muriel's sleep so he can get some rest. Courage has to find a solution before Muriel collapses from exhaustion.

"Hard Drive Courage" Eustace is ill, and when Muriel tries to get a curative recipe off the internet, she gets sucked into the computer. Courage must go after her. "The Ride of the Valkyries" While vacationing in Norway, Muriel is mistaken for a Valkyrie and taken off to battle the Trolls. Courage has to rescue her before she goes to war.

"Scuba Scuba Doo" While on a scuba-diving holiday, Muriel discovers the Coralites, tiny people living inside the coral reef. Ma arrives on the scene and her greed threatens the future of the little people. Muriel and Courage must find a way to stop Ma and save the Coralites. "Conway the Contaminationist" Conway, a skinny, sickly looking man, moves in with the Family while recuperating from a plane crash. He begins polluting and contaminating their lives, advocating pollution and filth as the healthiest lifestyle. The Farmhouse is quarantined, and Courage must find a way to clean up the whole mess.

"Katz Under the Sea" Muriel signs up to be the cook on the new Nowhere Navy nuclear submarine. Courage discovers that the First Mate (Katz) is a spy, working for a rival submarine manufacturer, with orders to sabotage the submarine. Courage must first battle and defeat Katz before he can save Muriel and the entire crew. "Curtain of Cruelty" A bizarre phenomenon occurs, releasing a luminous curtain that travels across Nowhere. The people of Nowhere become nasty and cruel, the crueler the better. The Farmer flourishes in this environment, and is endorsed as the next mayor. Muriel's natural kindness insults everyone and she is sent to be rehabilitated. Courage must find a way to return everything back to normal before the Farmer becomes mayor and Muriel's rehabilitation is complete.

"Feast of the Bullfrogs" A warlike tribe of bullfrogs takes over the Farmhouse, forcing the Family to convert to Frogism, the belief that Frogs rule. The Family must learn to live like frogs, and are put to work building a new lily pond. Courage overhears the Emperor of the bullfrogs planning a celebration feast, replete with marinated human legs! Courage alerts the Family, but they do not believe him. Courage must think of a way to save his Family from turning into a frog-course meal. "Tulip's Worm" Courage befriends a giant worm that swallows Muriel and the Farmer, and get them all back to Earth.

"So in Louvres Are We Two" On their European vacation, Muriel, Eustace and Courage get accidentally locked into a French art museum at closing time. Mona Lisa and The Thinker come to life, and force Muriel and Eustace to take their places -- Muriel is stuck in Mona's frame, and Eustace is frozen on The Thinker's pedestal -- so Mona and The Thinker are free to pursue their romance. Courage must get them back where they belong, or else Muriel will be stuck forever. "Night of the Scarecrow" The Family rescues a torn-apart scarecrow and they take him home, where Muriel sews him back together. The scarecrow is so grateful to Muriel for saving his life, he appoints himself her personal bodyguard. He quickly grows obsessed with protecting Muriel and locks her in the basement for her own protection. Courage must find a way to stop the scarecrow and free Muriel.

"Mondo Magic" A magician (who is really a monster underneath his disguise) arrives at the Farmhouse and wows Muriel with his magic. He "poofs" the Farmer into the TV and out of the way, and begins transforming Muriel into a monster, intending to take her as his bride. Courage must find a way to reverse the spell before Muriel's transformation is complete. "Watch the Birdies" A giant Mama Bird swoops out of the sky and carries Muriel away to her nest, insisting that Muriel babysit while she goes away on vacation. Muriel agrees to tend to the adorable baby birds. As soon as Mama Bird flies offthe babies reveal themselves to be spoiled rotten. Courage must help Muriel take care of the birds and defend the nest until the Mama Bird returns.

"Fishy Business" The Family is judged to be uncivilized by a tribunal of fishionaries, and are sent off to be re-educated as water-dwellers. They are forced to learn to breathe underwater, swim around and eat fish food. Courage has to find a way to get them back to their life on land. "Angry Nasty People" Tarantella returns, desperate for a hit TV series. He offers the Family roles in his new show "Angry Nasty People." All they have to do is act mean. They agree, and the Farmer shines as his nastiness is encouraged. Later, Tarantella explains this is a "special" camera. It's been recording the Farmer's true essence - his meanness - and has turned it into Mr. Nastythe embodiment of all the Farmer's nastiness. Mr. Nasty becomes the star of the showwhich becomes a hitand the Family becomes miserable. Courage has to do something.

"Dome of Doom" The Farmer reads in the newspaper that "Mega-Veg Farmaceuticals" is paying big bucks for volunteers to live in a geodesic dome to test their new farm products, and he signs up. Soon Muriel and Courage are planting chemically-enhanced super seeds under an Astrodome-sized enclosure that covers the Farmhouse. But the seeds sprout into a garden of angry predatory vegetables and begin attacking. Courage must find a way to get rid of the deadly plants before he and the family turn into plant food. "The Snowman's Revenge" The Snowman must find a new home, and plans to create a West Pole. He chooses the western-most spot on the planet: right in the middle of Nowhere. The Snowman arrivestakes over the farmhouseand erects a pole -- the official West Pole -- in their living room. Then he forces the Family to help him spread a blistering winter, or else they'll get the deep freeze. To make the North and South poles livable again so the Snowman can go home. Courage must reverse global warming by locating the hole in the ozone and sewing it up.

"The Quilt Club" While shopping for quilting materials, Muriel meets two women who tell her about their quilting club. Muriel excitedly asks if she can join, but is told she must prove herself. She becomes obsessed with being admitted, no matter the cost. She soon finds out the cost is quite high: she will be sewn into the quilt. Courage must find a way to get her out of the club before she is quilted away forever. "Swindlin' Wind" Muriel takes a fancy to a trinket Shirley is selling. The Farmer swindles Shirley, promising her an oil well deed in exchange for the trinket and giving her an oil bill instead. Angered, Shirley casts a curse on the Farmer and Muriel. Back at home, Courage watches in dismay as Muriel and the Farmer start swindling each other. Growing hostility drives Muriel and the Farmer to an accelerating series of con games, crooked card games, mail fraud, phony phone, solicitations, etc. Courage must convince Shirley that these two really don't deserve the curse and get her to remove it.

"King of Flan" Courage falls asleep as an infomercial begins, starting with the grinning fat face of a pitchman hawking pre-packaged flan. In his dream, Courage sees the Face saying that he has to "act before midnight tonight if he wants to save the world...." Courage wakes up in a panic, and begins seeing the Face everywhere -- on billboards, in newspapers, etc. All of Nowhere, including Muriel and the Farmer, becomes suddenly obsessed with a desire for flan. Courage must track down the Face, who's been using Nowhere to test his new "hypno-mercial," and de-hypnotize the people of Nowhere. "Courage Under the Volcano" The Family vacations on Hip-Hip Island to see the largest volcano on earth. Muriel is abducted by an ancient tribe to be offered as a human sacrifice to the volcano god. The tribe believes this will stop the volcano from erupting. Courage must go into the volcano, persuade the Volcano God not to erupt, and save Muriel.

"A Beaver's Tail" The Family awakens one morning and discovers a lake outside their home. When the water rises and begins to flood the farmhouse, Courage reluctantly goes to find the cause. He finds a beaver completing a huge dam on the Nowhere River. Courage must get the beaver to stop building the dam and save his family and home from being flooded out. "The Nutcracker" The Family browses in a junkyard and accidentally get locked in. As evening falls, evil rats emerge and begin a macabre dance to music from "The Nutcracker Suite." The rats capture Muriel and The Farmer, and prepare to cook them for a feast. Courage must save them and himself.

"Rumpledkiltskin" Muriel is summoned to Scotland by her uncle to weave the family tartan, as the last surviving family member who knows how to do it. Upon arrival she learns that her uncle is an imposter. He imprisons her (with Courage) and forces her to weave thousands of kilts. Courage must find a way to rescue them both. "Housecalls" Dr. Gerhardt von Orbison, a brilliant and lonely scientist, wants neighbors and decides to bring them to him. The Family is awakened to find the Farmhouse "walking" itself to a new location. The Farmhouse settles next door to von Orbison's mansion, and Muriel strikes up a friendship with him. Courage is terrified, and it soon becomes apparent that Dr. von Orbison's house doesn't WANT neighbors - it wants him all to itself -- and tries to get rid of them.

"Le Quack Balloon" Le Quack returns with a new scheme: he replaces Muriel's cookie recipe with one that calls for "rare Swedish vinegar" - then arrives on the scene to take her to Sweden in a hot air balloon so she can get some. His plan is to use her to steal money from the Piggy Bank of Sweden, and Courage must find a way to save her. "Windmill Vandals" The farm's windmill begins to jam, and when Courage tries to fix it, he discovers strange rune symbols carved behind each of the blades. He hears the sound of horses' hooves approaching, and ghosts of saber-wielding vandals ride into view, galloping straight for the farm. They attack the Family, chopping off their heads. Courage has to find out who the vandals are, and how to get rid of them.

"The Uncommon Cold" Muriel gets a terrible cold and starts sneezing uncontrollably. Courage notices that Muriel's sneezes produce a strange cloud in front of her face - and in each cloud is seen the image of an odd creature crying for help. She sneezes out a cloudy map, which Courage follows to the Bayou, with a desperately sneezing Muriel in tow. Courage must find a way to cure Muriel of the cold that threatens to do her in. "Farmer-Hunter, Farmer-Hunted" The start of hunting season is announced, and a prize is offered to whomever blasts the biggest deer. The Farmer takes Courage on a hunting trip. Martin Deer, the biggest deer in the county, is playing with his family in a pasture when the Farmer starts shooting at him. Fed up with being hunted, Martin decides to turn the tables and hunt the Farmer.

"Bride of the Swamp Monster" The truck crashes into a swamp one night and Muriel loses her new locket, which holds a picture of her inside it. The locket descends into the murky swamp and is found by the Swamp Monster, who sees Muriel's picture and believes she is his long-lost love. He vows to find her and bring her home. Swamp Monster tracks Muriel down and takes her to the swamp to be his bride. Courage must locate his REAL long-lost love and save Muriel. "Goat Pain" Muriel wakes one morning with a terrible backache, and is advised by Dr. Vindaloo to travel to a remote mountain hot spring, renowned for its healing properties. When the Family arrives there, they encounter an extremely aggressive mountain goat with massive horns. He is the guardian of the mountain's sacred hot spring, and will not let them in. Muriel is in so much pain and they have traveled such a long way, they refuse to leave. Muriel and Courage are taken prisoner by the goat. It's up to Courage to figure out a way to cure Muriel's backache and save them all.

"Muriel Blows Up" One evening, a stray military test rocket bursts overhead above the Farmhouse. It showers the ground with debris and a mysterious residue, which only Courage notices. The next morning, Muriel finds a carrot growing in her garden. Courage notices it's growing very quickly and warns Muriel. She ignores his warnings, eats the carrot, and begins to grow, eventually becoming as tall as the house. Courage and the Farmer hear a news report on the TV about the test rocket that exploded, and learn that Muriel will grow until she explodes. Courage has to get into Muriel's stomach and defeat the Military Carrot before it's too late. "Profiles in Courage" At a county fair, a mysterious paper-cutter offers to make full-size cameo silhouettes of Muriel and the Farmer. Back at the Farmhouse, Muriel mounts the cameos on the wall and heads upstairs to bed. Courage sees the silhouettes moving in their picture-frames, and screams as the cameos pull themselves free and head upstairs. The sinister silhouettes drape themselves over the sleeping Farmer and Muriel and steal their souls, pulling the life force out of them both and leaving only their inanimate bodies behind. The silhouettes "fill out" into three dimensions, still made of paper but shaped like real people now. Courage must find a way to get the silhouettes to leave so that Muriel and the Farmer can return.

"The Mask: Part 1" Kitty, a dog-hating stranger wearing a mask, arrives at the Farmhouse. Muriel invites her in as their guest, much to Courage's distress. Kitty tells the family her story, that she's been forced to run away to save herself from being killed by Mad Dog, an evil and vicious gangster who was jealous of her closeness with his girlfriend, Bunny. As a result, Kitty hates all dogs and beats Courage whenever she can. Courage goes in search of her friend Bunny, hoping to find a way to get Kitty to leave. "Squatting Tiger, Hidden Dog" The family is taking a tour of the Great Wall of China, led by their tour guide, Di Lung. Muriel is suddenly abducted, orchestrated by Di Lung in the service of his godmother: the Empress Dowager of China. The Empress has kept the people of China in her thrall, but now the secret source of her power -- the magic silkworm -- has transcended to another world. The only way the Empress can contact the silkworm is through the bones of a genuine soul... and Muriel, innocent source of tranquility, is that soul. Courage must find a way to rescue Muriel before her bones are extracted. "Muted Muriel" Each time Muriel gives her opinion about something or makes a comment, the Farmer ignores her. The Farmer's carelessness hurts Muriel so much she refuses to communicate to anyone. Her resentment makes her mute. Courage hires Shirley the Medium to conjure up a spell that will make Muriel talk again. Shirley's spell conjures up giant earth-crawlers which converge on the Farmhouse. The only thing that will stop them is the sound of Muriel's voice. Courage must save them all by getting Muriel to speak.

"Aqua-Farmer" When the Family visits an aqua-park, The Farmer boasts loudly that he can swim better than the dolphin in the water show. The Farmer is challenged to a swimming contest with the dolphin and loses. The humiliation the Farmer experiences causes him to confront his failure. He becomes obsessively determined to win. The Farmer challenges the dolphin to a re-match, offering Muriel as the prize if he loses. He begins training and Courage must help him win, or they will lose Muriel. "Food of the Dragon" A large dragon arrives at the Farmhouse looking for food -- it eats humans. It attacks the house and occupies it, eats the Farmer as a snack, and sets aside Muriel and Courage for dinner. Courage learns of the dragon's personal anguish over having wings but being unable to fly. Raised by dragons who fed on humans and could fly, the dragon is puzzled: it can not fly, nor does it truly enjoy the taste of humans. Courage bravely cuts a deal with the dragon: he'll find out why, in exchange for his family's freedom.

"Last of the Starmakers" Out in space, two beings -- a husband and his pregnant wife -- scatter stars in the blackness. They are star makers, and are the last beings of their kind. Suddenly a predator attacks them. The husband tells his wife to save herself, go to Earth to give birth. His wife escapes, landing beside the Farmhouse, where she digs a hole deep in the ground and lays her eggs. Muriel and Courage discover her. Muriel instantly bonds with the being, and becomes her nursemaid. The Farmer secretly sells her to a science lab, and the scientists come for her. Muriel and Courage must save her, and insure that the Earth will continue to have stars in the night sky. "Son of the Chicken From Outer Space" The three-headed son of the Chicken from Outer Space returns to earth, at his mother's bidding, to avenge his father and destroy Courage. He captures Muriel and subjects her to horrible things. Courage must defeat the Son and rescue Muriel.

"Courageous Cure" Alien naturalists descend upon the Farmhouse in their spacecraft and suck up the Family as specimens of earth life, and begin to study them. They are desperate to discover if their own perishing species could be genetically hybridized with humans, in hope of finding a serum that will save their race from a destructive virus. Courage must find a cure for the virus so he can save himself and his family. "Ball of Revenge" The Farmer is in an exceptionally bitter mood, taking note of all the attention Muriel gives to Courage. The last straw breaks when Muriel gives Courage a colorful new blanket that The Farmer assumed she was knitting for him. He decides to get rid of Courage once and for all. He gathers many of Courage's former "enemies" and they create a plan of attack. In order to lure Courage into the plot, The Farmer has Muriel kidnapped. Courage must find a way to save Muriel and himself.

"Cabaret Courage" The Family is sightseeing in Hollowood, California, when a manhole opens beneath their feet. They plummet down a series of long, intestine-like tubes and land in an underground cabaret, in what appears to be a stomach. A homunculus, embedded in the wall of the stomach, offers the Family great prizes if they perform for him. The Farmer and Muriel eagerly accept the opportunity, but end up being thrown into an intestinal pit to be digested, because they performed not for genuine feeling and generosity but for personal and material gain. Courage, however, turns down the offer of glitzy, expensive gifts. He'll perform in exchange for the Family's freedom. Courage must rescue Muriel and the Farmer before they are digested. "Wrath of the Librarian" While digging up "treasures" he'd buried in the yard, Courage finds a library book that is two years overdue. He takes it back and learns he owes several thousand dollars in overdue fees. He returns home with the book, unsure of what he will do. Muriel and the Farmer both touch the book and get paper cuts from it - and they transform into characters from the book. Courage must find a way to change them back AND pay off his library debt (which grows by the minute).

"Remembrance of Courage Past" Courage sees a "Missing Dog" ad on the side of a milk container, which causes him to have flashbacks of himself as a puppy going to the veterinarian -- where his parents were kidnapped, and Courage failed to rescue them. The flashbacks cause Courage to get depressed, so Muriel takes him to Doctor Teenytodd, a veterinarian who turns out to be the kidnapper from Courage's flashbacks. He kidnaps dogs and sends them into space. Courage is kidnapped and headed for the same fate as his parents, unless he can overcome his past, destroy the factory and the spaceship. "Perfect" The Farmer gets fed up with Courage's incompetence, and begins looking for a professional to make Courage better. The Perfectionist appears, an old Victorian schoolteacher who carries a large wooden ruler and speaks in a commanding tone. The Perfectionist begins showing Courage how to be perfect, but he fails at all the assignments. Courage must find a way to be "perfect" or get rid of The Perfectionist.
