TABLE TALK: A Change In The Eagles Philosophy?

This week on TABLE TALK, Jeff sat down with Ed Kracz from Eagles Today over at FanNation to discuss what appears to be a changing philosophy coming from the Philadelphia Eagles front office. This season, we’ve seen some interesting free agent acquisitions, and talent priorities. We dove into what we’ve seen from the Birds on a more macro level this week. Topics that Ed and Jeff dove into:
How has Howie Roseman and the front office viewed this offseason as they’ve been retooling, and how that restructure may look in future years as well? Will we see a front office philosophy of building and strictly focusing on the trenches, or might we see something different as the offseason progresses? How might the Eagles approach this upcoming NFL Draft? What does Jalen Hurts need to work on most this offseason?
All of this and much more this week on Table Talk!

TABLE TALK: The Eagles Are Signing Saquon Barkley And Bryce Huff

TABLE TALK: The Eagles Are Signing Saquon Barkley And Bryce Huff

This week on TABLE TALK, Jeff dove into the recent announcements that the Philadelphia Eagles will be signing mega contracts with RB Saquon Barkley and DE Bryce Huff.
The Eagles haven’t invested a great deal of financial resources into the running back position over many years - but that changes starting this year as they gave Saquon Barkley a three-year deal worth $37.5 million. It’s a deal that could amount to $46.75M and also includes $26M fully guaranteed.
Bryce Huff is Vic Fangio’s first mega acquisition. Huff and the Eagles have reached a three-year, $51.1 million deal in which he will become the highest-paid non-quarterback undrafted free agent in NFL history. The New York community must be very sad on this day.

Great Philly sports podcast!

Lots of great and diverse Philly and general sports content. Date I say a logical sports podcast. Not the typical negative Philly sports talk many of us are used to.

Perfect Philly Podcast

As a big Philadelphia sports fan that doesn't live in the Philadelphia area, this podcast is amazing to be able to keep up with my favorite teams. I can't always watch the games and I feel that I don't know as much as I should because of it. This podcast greatly informs me on all 4 teams without boring me. Some episodes are long but they're perfect for long drives. Definitely recommend if a Philadelphia sports fan.

Be better

I used to listen a lot until Erik used a derogatory term for native Americans around a year ago and said he didn’t care who he offended. Said he was being emotional and that it was ok. Haven’t listened since. You have a podcast and can edit: why let a statement like that remain in the podcast?
