I've been going through the various FF14 podcasts available. This one releases episodes consistently, has better audio quality than most, and features one of my favorite FF14 podcast hosts (Yelta). There's much to recommend about it-- just keep in mind that these folks are doing what most gaming podcasters do: getting together periodically to talk about their experiences in the game since the last episode. For folks who have been playing FF14 for this long, that could mean there's nothing new to discuss in any given episode. For you, the listener, that could mean a string of new episodes in which the hosts complain about the same things again and again. Given the nature of podcasting about a MMORPG, this seems like a problem that should be endemic to every FF14 podcast, yet Gather Together strikes me as more cynical and mean-spirited than other shows of its kind. Ultimately, you should give this a listen and decide for yourself, as what bothered me might not bother you.
