The best resource to start learning Spanish
As someone who has done the language learning process 5 times, I wish every language had a Language Transfer dialogue. The amount of “aha” moments you have each episode are great. All the similarities and differences with English. You already know grammatical rules, words, and patterns from your native language you can easily pick up in your target language as freebies. Why not?
The only qualm I have is using the app, I wish the episodes had a descriptive title and summary like they do in the podcast.
Love that you guys have music theory on their too. That comes next!
Highly recommended
The Italian course is genius how it takes you from zero to constructing complex sentences after only 45 lessons. I'm a big fan of Michel Thomas audio courses, and this is a wonderful free alternative. I love the interactive content that keeps you engaged. Thanks to the creator for all the hard work that went into this. I donated via the website to support this unique project.
Terrific language podcast!
I’ve tried a number of apps and lessons to augment my former in-person class, and this is by far the best. The teacher provides information in bite sized chunks and then helps you understand how to build that into sentences. Other than learning the root words themselves, it isn’t rote memorization (and even with the root words, he gives insight as to how to remember them). He provides context and really terrific explanations. This is one of the few language learning tools I’ve tried where I feel like I’m really learning a language, as opposed to learning how to string together some words.
