Apple AI coming to Spotlight search, new Sports app, iPhone 15 battery re-rated
The Apple news cycle continues apace this week, with the company launching a brand new app, Sports, for sports scores. The iPhone 15 battery is now rated for twice as many charge cycles, along with a redesigned Battery UI in iOS 17.4. Apple is reportedly planning new AI features for both Spotlight search and Xcode code completion, and the EU readies a $500 million fine for Apple’s anticompetitive behavior in music streaming market. I enjoy the podcast but it’s way too quiet
Love This Podcast Since Chance Came On
I was kinda wishy washy on this pod when it was Benjamin and Zac, but since Chance has stepped in I really feel like the show has hit its stride. I love the banter between them. Most importantly though, the hosts aren’t afraid to criticize Apple when needed, unlike another podcast that I listen to that also had a recent change of host. Keep up the great work guys!
Great podcast, just lose all the Twitter talk
Ben and Chance are a nice blend. Ben seems more technically knowledgeable and Chance is more on the fanboy side, similar to Zac. It’s a good back and forth of the different perspectives. The only thing I can’t stand is when they go on 10 minute rants comparing Twitter to threads. I don’t understand why that takes up space on an Apple centric podcast. Outside of that the podcast is great and always hits on the topics that came up that week.
