Great podcast!

I've just listened to your Michael Nesmith episode....it was absolutely first class! I'm a massive Nesmith fan, I finally saw him live, with Micky Dolenz, in St Louis, a year or two before he passed. That one excellent episode will bring me back to your podcast soon. Thanks

Awesome tips from songwriters in many different genres

I love the fact that you cover such a wide variety of artists, from the earlier years of rock/pop through more recent emerging songwriters, and from indie eccentrics to “factory” writers. Every episode adds some new writer’s twist that gives your listeners insight and ideas into the songwriting process. Your boundless wit and insightful questions make the program a joy I look forward to on my drive to and from work. Slowly working my way through the older episodes and now up to 74! Like a Time Machine.

I would love to hear from Sufjan Stevens and Nick Cave. The Nick Cave interviews I have seen—as well as the documentary, show him to be a really thoughtful guy. Sufjan Stevens has written in some really different and unconventional music.

Keep up the excellent work! I can’t wait until Monday—I now love going to work because I get to hear more revealing tips on songwriting.

Suggestions....

Love the show. Inquisitive, thoughtful and respectful questions. Thanks for not wasting time with idle banter. Would love to hear interviews with Andy Partridge, Nick Lowe, Paddy McAloon.
