Welcome to From Complex to Queens, Home Run Applesauce’s podcast focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.
Steve is riding solo this week, so he quickly goes over how the Mets affiliates did this past week and then highlights the Mets’ Dominican Summer League teams with the start of their season. The DSL Mets Blue and DSL Mets Orange do have a bunch of interesting infielders, outfielders, catchers, and pitchers.

    MateGate

Grace is back after a busy week for the Mets. They still haven't been great but they have been doing a lot. Jorge Lopez had a meltdown on the mound and then said some choice words after the game that got everybody in a tizzy. And the Mets made several roster moves, some expected, some not.
Then, Grace gets into the latest with sports betting scandals, as MLB had multiple players facing various suspensions of varying lengths for betting on sports, including baseball games. The ethics of this situation are very murky when the league itself has begun tying itself closer and closer with legal sportsbooks. And Grace also dives into the fourth annual Lou Gehrig Day and how, on most fronts, it was another disappointment for a league with the ability to do so much more.
Finally, it's Pride Month, so Grace themed her movie minute for the occasion. It's a double feature of two seminal lesbian films that changed the future of film and continue to be more modern than a lot of films made today.

    Attempting a Shake Up

Welcome to Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World Series, the new/old favorite from Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.
The Mets didn't inspire too much confidence this week, but they did make a really, really strange set of roster moves and dealt with a sticky situation involving a relief pitcher.
    Chris’s Music Pick:
Father John Misty - Fear Fun
    Brian’s Music Pick:
    Beastie Boys - Ill Communication

    Some bad, some good

    Some bad, some good

Welcome to From Complex to Queens, Home Run Applesauce’s podcast focusing on the Mets’ minor league system.
With Steve set to resume hosting duties for the next couple weeks. promote-extend-trade returns to a distininctly historical slant, as Ken and Lukas discuss a few of the better multi-sport baseball players. After that, it’s full-on draft time, with three new mock drafts and an updated top-500 to discuss. Carson Benge (one of Ken’s guys) remains the favorite choice, while mocked picks Christian Moore and Brody Brecht get less rave reviews.
Down on the farm, the entire system seems on track to finish the week 3-3 (pending the result of Binghamton’s game). There’s more bad news and performances for most of the upper minors hitters, but some really interesting and encouraging weeks from a lot of the younger bats. Meanwhile the arms - led by Brandon Sproat, who seems on the fast track to top-100 / top-50 lists - continue to excel.

Argenis Reyes ,

Randy Tate

Thoroughly enjoy the UnforMETable podcast. However, I distinctly recall the late Randy Tate being a right handed pitcher.
