PULL, Don't Push SOVT Exercises for Breath Work
SOVT, or 'semi-occluded vocal tract' exercises, IF done with good form, can significantly improve vocal ability and vocal health. In this episode, I show you why and how you should PULL them instead of Push them, like most people do. See this episode on YouTube for video demonstrations of these exercises.

Weird Vocal Exercises That Blend Registers
In this episode I teach vocal exercises I designed using voiced consonants and vowels to help singers AND speakers blend their chest and head registers. Doing these exercises also helps you eliminate vocal breaks, add more resonance and range and ease vocal strain. These benefits occur as we take the voice across the passagio from chest to head voice while pulling and morphing the syllables. It's weird, but it works!

It really is aptly called All Things Vocal !
This podcast is incredibly informative and presented in such an easily understood way. I only wish I had found it sooner. I learned so many more solid and practical vocal tips from listening to a few of her podcasts than I had in almost 2 years of weekly voice lessons. You can tell that Judy has done her research through her interviews with so many other singers, health professionals, PR experts, composers, etc. And she has studied the holistic aspects of being a singer as well. I definitely recommend listening and subscribing to her podcasts for all expiring and professional singers and speakers. I was so impressed that I have begun lessons with her through zoom. And even though she is a top singer / composer in her own right and has worked with so many of the great names in the industry, she is so personable that I quickly shed my nerves when singing in front of her. So I also recommend her as a private teacher.
AMAZING!!!
This podcast is so informative for all things vocal!! I’m a singer songwriter in Nashville and I really feel like I have learned so much from Judy! She helps with the business side of music, actually singing, and everything in between. Highly recommend this podcast for anyone wanting to learn more about their voice and the music business!
