This week, Jamie and Justina have PETA’s senior VP Lisa Lange on the show for an incredibly informative and thought-provoking discussion about animals in shelters, what to do about animal overpopulation, and the inconvenient truth about so-called “No-Kill” shelters.

It’s Freaky Friday on Just So You Know this week because Justina’s in the driver’s seat to talk about the history of Disney movies with pro-animal messages. Is there going to be a lot of singing? Yes. Is this one going to go hilariously off the rails? You bet it is.

Jamie and Justina tackle the difficult topic of animal “rescues” that are really just hoarding operations in an illuminating conversation with PETA Vice President Dan Paden, who helped expose the notorious “Isaiah 11 Ministry” hoarding operation.

When Sam McGraw met Ted, a rescue dog who had been used for cosmetics experiments, it changed the course of her life and career. This week, Sam joins Jamie and Justina to share her extensive knowledge of cruelty-free cosmetics, talk about the best cruelty-free products for moms-to-be, and introduce them to Ted, who (as it turns out) is one amazing beagle.
