Today we talk about that thing you ignore until 3rd leaves the chat lol. Transmissions are overlooked with maintenance but also gear selection for performance. We go over ALL sorts of topics today ranging from what gears are awesome, what aren't depending on your application, is building a 5MT worth it, and even "Uncle Scotties Cocktail".

Incredible episode. Ever caught yourself thinking of an idea for an engine swap and everything seems to make sense, it all lines up and you wonder "why aren't people aren't doing this"? Some folks forget to ask that question and they find out real quick.

Today we have Tanner Smith, the man behind the YouTube Channel Smeedia. We do some news together then go down the rabbit hole of his H6 swap into his VA STI. To say it was an odyssey is an total understatement. This is a GREAT episode that does a great job of answering "why?".

With the release of the destroker options to our EJ lineup, we thought it might be a good idea to talk about if a destroker makes sense or not for you application. This get a bit "rambly" but the info is solid. Then we have a classic "ask Dewey" segment that answers a LOT of great questions the audience asked in a thread on the IAG Insiders Lounge.

What an episode. Jon from Flatirons Tuning fown some time to sit down with us and chat about where he's from, where the shop came from and a bunch of other stuff. We go over the recent AOS issues he brought up and some great commentary on "Subaru on Subaru" violence within the community. Great chat!!

So this episode...was a disaster. What it was SUPPOSED to be was a great talk about wheels but due to technical difficulties (not on our end this time) we had to pivot and it just ended up being a fun chat about all sorts of stuff ranging from the car Dewey rented and how it compares to a new BRZ, the "chicken tax" and why we can't have small trucks, and Smeedia special guests and chats about H6 issues. It ended up being fun but OMG what a disaster lol.
