Konfidence with Katheleen Katheleen Daigle

Kindyl Scruggs added a very special title to her list of wins. In this episode, she talks about her goals, her horses, her experience with the qualification process, her program and more.   

Kindyl Scruggs is a very accomplished barrel racer from Southaven, Mississippi. She has achieved a significant amount of success in her career, including winning the World Championship Title in 2016 from the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA).

Scruggs has been involved in barrel racing from a very young age. The start of her horse journey was a pony on her 2nd birthday; after that, she was hooked! 

Throughout her career, Scrugg has acquired numerous accolades, including around 85 to 90 buckles and several championship saddles. She particularly treasures her World Championship saddle from 2016 and her championship saddle from 2013. In addition to her achievements in the IPRA, she has also qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo and the Lonestar Rodeo Company Finals. Scruggs emphasizes the importance of passion, self-drive, and motivation in her sport. Despite the demanding nature of barrel racing, she manages to balance her full-time job with giving riding lessons in the evenings. Her dedication and work ethic are key factors in her success in the sport.
