If You’re an Educator…Get Ready to Feel Seen

I have been a longtime fan of TM—the posts, the books, Lauren’s fiction. The podcast is a welcome gift to my life. It’s a salve I listen to while cleaning up my art classroom everyday. I’m sad I’m already through the entire catalogue—time to relisten! The hosts are warm, funny, empathetic, and offer an honest view of what modern public education looks like. If it’s not for you, that’s okay, but if you are an educator and feel like no one understands…I highly suggest you subscribe…followed by a deep dive into the TM archives. Thank you so much for this content!

For anyone working in schools

Teacher misery focuses on the humor and issues/troubles of working in US schools today. They focus on teachers, but is relatable to support staff and substitute teachers alike.

They really get it

I’ve been following Lauren and Deandre on Instagram for a while. Their humor is spot on and their attitude about admin is realistic. Their content is entertaining and validating for teachers. 5 stars!
