So good! Today’s episode was an absolute banger and hits you right where you live, amazing work! Like your radio news set in a weird town and you’re all caught up on Night Vale? Tune in to WitherBurn After School News. You’ll be glad you did.
Brilliant Addition to the Spooky Story Genre!
I LOVE spooky podcasts, whether it’s Full Body Chills, Old Gods of Appalachia, The Magnus Archives/Protocol, etc. And this one is right up there with them! It is such a breath of fresh air to hear the story (a) from a teenage perspective and (b) following the story as it develops. A lot of spooky stories are told in the past tense or take place in the past. It’s great hearing a story like this in modern times, with modern technology available. ^_^
:)
They do a really good job of making it sound authentic!!! The premise is unique (spooky town BUT it’s from the perspective of high schoolers) and the story is compelling. As of right now I’ve listened to all 7 episodes that are out and I can’t wait to hear more!
Also the reporter needs to give Dyce more credit, he’s actually a pretty decent guy.
