In 2016, a popular high school senior mysteriously disappeared on the night before Thanksgiving. His remains were found two years later. What happened to Tom Brown in the small town of Canadian, Texas that night? It seems everyone in town’s become a suspect, including Tom’s family, friends, the local sheriff, and a high-flying private investigator. Acclaimed writer Skip Hollandsworth digs into the mystery that’s torn this town apart in this eight-part true crime podcast series.
From the Texas Monthly team behind “Boomtown”—a popular eleven-part podcast series about the culture and economy of the West Texas oil fields—“Tom Brown’s Body” is the first narrative podcast series from Hollandsworth.

Excellent
Intriguing podcast. The actions of Sheriff Nathan Lewis were suspicious from the beginning. He needs to be looked at again more thoroughly.
Hooked!
My son passed this along to me because he lives in Stephenville, attending TSU. I started listening and could not stop. I am done with both seasons when is the next one coming out. Great content, music and just gripping stories. Keep it up!
Great reporting!
First things first- the sheriff is definitely guilty of something. It might not be related to this case, but he was acting real shady the entire series. The host is clearly a seasoned journalist! I appreciated his ability to hold people accountable and ask the tough questions. I do think there was an excess of back and forth between Klein and Lewis that could have been cut, but all things considered I enjoyed the show!
