    The Outsiders (1983)

As we say goodbye to Patrick Swayze for his last film in May Of Swayz(e) UnCaged, we see the actor a part of an incredible ensemble of a “who’s who” of the 80s Brat Pack. A classic novel turned into a classic film with heavy hitter director Francis Ford Coppola at the helm, join us as we discuss the classic story of The Outsiders. Should you watch the original version or the director’s cut? Who is our favorite Greaser? What were those kids doing in that abandoned church in the first place?

    Dirty Dancing (1987)

    Dirty Dancing (1987)

May of Swayz: Uncaged continues with a movie that absolutely shot Patrick Swayze into super stardom! This movie won an Oscar and was the first movie to sell over 1million copies on VHS but is it as good as we remember it? Is Johnny one of the worst characters ever? Why did they decide to randomly add 80s songs into a movie taking place in the 60s? Is this REALLY the plot that they came up with? Join us as we give ‘Dirty Dancing’ a modern-day review

    Donnie Darko (2001)

    Donnie Darko (2001)

If you don’t listen to this new episode, we are seriously going to doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion. Donnie Darko is one of the most-cherished and analyzed films of all-time. We give you a deeper understanding of what exactly is happening in this movie, as well as a spirited discussion on whether feces are baby mice, if keg beer is for pussies and whether or not, smurfs are asexual. The start of May of Swayz: Uncaged month. Enjoy!

Just like listening to old friends

Found this podcast when I was trying to find a good movie or show review podcast and I’m glad I did. The podcast has a familiar, fun vibe to it like you’re just listening and laughing with old buddies talking about movies you grew up watching. I was hooked after listening to my first episode (The Mighty Ducks) and have gone back to listen to the beginning.

Amazing work from these fellas.
