    Welcome to Cut the Crazy! I'm Amber Claar, and I help busy moms eliminate being overwhelmed by frustration, stress, and guilt. As a mom of three neurodivergent kids with ADHD, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to stay patient and loving when everything feels like it's falling apart. That's why I've made it my mission to help moms like you take back control of their lives and find the clarity they need to ditch the stress and cut the crazy. Each week, we'll explore new strategies and tools to help you overcome feelings of guilt and shame while also living in alignment with your true self..     As a life coach, my main goal is to empower moms who feel shame and guilt over being angry with themselves, family, or friends. I understand that many moms struggle with taking ownership of their lives, and my focus is to help them take action on what they want for themselves based on their values, not the judgment of others. I guide my clients towards finding their own solutions by helping them understand their emotions, beliefs, and thought patterns. This helps them to make positive choices and take action towards their goals. I also assist them in breaking down overwhelming tasks into smaller, more manageable steps, creating a routine and checklists to prioritize tasks, and ultimately creating a more balanced and fulfilling life. Additionally, I help my clients manage overwhelming emotions such as overwhelm, frustration, and shame by helping them go into their head to look inward and find their own answers.

    What’s the deal with MOM GUILT!? And how do we change it.

    In this episode I share a personal experience where I felt frustrated, overwhelmed, and disappointed with myself. 

    I dive into those voices in my head that trigger uncomfortable emotions like embarrassment and guilt. 

    Feeling like the best mom that I can be is exactly what I wanted to feel, but I felt everything but that. 

    I had to learn how to identify and learn from those strong emotions. 

    Learning from my mistakes 

    Being self aware changed everything 

    Shame and blame are not helpful. 

    Give yourself compassion, understanding, and more time. 

    Look for a solution. What needs to change? What can you learn? How can you use this to get a little bit closer to your goals and dreams?

    Planning your day is essential 
    Track everything 
    Where is your time going? 
    What are you accomplishing? 
    Are you letting that voice inside trick you? 

    What are the absolutes?
    What other priorities and tasks do you have? 
    What two or three tasks do you want to accomplish today? 
    Ask yourself- what action can I take right now to make a little bit of a difference. 

    Set up good routines (more on this later) 
    What changes do you need to make in your life? 
    How will you do it?! 

    Make sure not to shame yourself into change. Going down the road of shame and humiliation never helps me take action!!

    Slow down and live in the moment 

    Create healthy habits 

    How will you create better family connection today? 

    What are you doing to take care of your mindset?

    Eliminate the unimportant! 
    Where is your time going? 
    Where is your energy going? 

    Are you saying “yes to others” before you pour into yourself? 

    What things can you add in to set you up for the success you want to see?
