Aidan Eck, Luke Morton & Katie Isherwood (Short Film Roundup)
Today, on the Cinema Flow Podcast, I’ve gathered three friends (Luke Morton, Aidan Eck, and Katie Isherwood) to watch five of my favorite short films. We’re going to review the films and discuss them from a filmmaking perspective.
If you’re an aspiring director, you can learn a lot from these shorts. Most of the people who made these movies did not have a lot of resources. Some of them were even film school students.

Luke Morton is a screenwriter and filmmaker who graduated from Chapman University with a dual BFA in Screenwriting and Advertising. He currently works for the production company Buffalo 8 and is a proud North Carolinian.
Katie Isherwood is the writer and director of the short film “CREATIVE REASONING”. You can keep up to date with the release of that film by following her Instagram page. She is based in Los Angeles.

Barbie Cinematic Universe (B.C.U.) with Cynthia Wang, Lindsay Newland & Katie Isherwood
In honor of the release of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film, my guests and I take a look back at the original Direct-to-DVD Barbie movies from our childhood. There are 42 Barbie movies, several of which made over $200 million in home video sales, so we dive deep into the lure and history of the Barbie films and discuss how they hold up in these modern times.
