Eli W. ,

Devastatingly good podcast

I started listening to this podcast after writing about the automation of factory farming — not from the perspective of an animal-welfare worker but as a mechanical engineer and technical writer who covers a lot of different industries that use automation (such as semiconductor manufacture and aerospace for example). The images and descriptions of what happens to animals in factory farming while they are still alive disturbed me enough to seek some kind of insight into the bigger picture of animal welfare generally across the globe.

I find this podcast to be soothing and educational and hope that it will help me find some way to make a positive difference for animals. This podcast is also helping me process my shock.

To the creator and host: Thank you so much for doing this podcast! You have helped me personally process something about which I was never really concerned before. Even the episodes not directly related to the issue that led me here are very helpful to me. My only kind suggestion is that you buy a Yeti microphone or similar equipment so that your listeners can hear your beautiful and thoughtful voice a bit more clearly with high-quality audio. Thank you again for your efforts here and for your other efforts to help animals. Thank you again is all I can say.
