    12. This Could Be The Single Greatest Investment for Your Business. To Join or Not to Join the Chamber of Commerce with Christine Mitchell

In today’s after-work drink episode, we are talking about the benefits of joining a Chamber of Commerce. Now hear me out. Perhaps the idea of joining a Chamber of Commerce isn’t sexy. But it may be a great resource for you and your business. Whether you are a Maker, a content creator, or a small business founder - if you are on the fence, or haven’t even considered joining a Chamber, this episode is for you.

I am chatting with Christine Mitchell who is the Executive Director of the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce. Christine shares her thoughts on who should become a member of their local Chamber of Commerce, the many benefits of belonging to a chamber, and how to decide if membership is suitable for you.

    11. Be Responsible for the Energy You Bring Into the Space with Amy Anderson

Today’s episode is all about energy, but more importantly, taking responsibility for your own energy. My guest is Amy Anderson from Inspired by Reflections.

Amy and I met last fall in a podcasting course. I was fortunate to be put into a weekly meeting group with her and two other wannabee podcasters, and we’ve maintained weekly zoom group chats ever since.

In this episode, Amy and I talk about taking responsibility for our energy and how it affects others. We chat about Oprah, assholes in a room, shit shields, and so much more. We are using an episode from the Yes/And podcast by Judi Holler called as the foundation for our conversation.

    10. Is the Value of Your Product or Service Greater than its Price? Transactional vs. Transformational Selling With Lindsay Fortney

    10. Is the Value of Your Product or Service Greater than its Price? Transactional vs. Transformational Selling With Lindsay Fortney

Today I am chatting with Lindsay Fortney, a Transformation Coach and former Real Estate agent. In this episode, we chat about price vs. value and how to get out of the transactional selling trap and into transformational selling.

We are using an episode from Your Virtual Upline Podcast with Bob Helig as the foundation for our conversation. I don’t want the name of Bob’s podcast to fool you. Even if you aren’t in Network Marketing this episode has lots of great nuggets to extract.

This episode is really important for all entrepreneurs to hear – whether you are in the network marketing industry or own a product-based or service-based business.

    9. Tips and Tricks to Selling Online with Erica Marchand

I can’t wait for you to hear today’s episode. Erica Marchand from Bear and Fox Apparel joins me, and we’re chatting about social selling.

Erica is very comfortable being in front of the camera on social media. I definitely don’t use social media to its full advantage and learned a lot from Erica in this episode. We chat about educating our customers, slipping into someone's DMs, the use of AI technology and multiple streams of revenue. If you use social media to sell your products or services, this is the episode for you!

We are using an episode from the Brand Meet Creator podcast called Selling Online in a Way That Doesn’t Make You Cringe as our jumping-off point.

    8. Reflecting On My Founder Story. The After-Work Drink: Irish Buck

    8. Reflecting On My Founder Story. The After-Work Drink: Irish Buck

    Happy National Irish Whiskey Day!

Today is another bonus “after-work drink” episode. I love these episodes! I get to sip on a cocktail while chatting about a business-related topic. In this episode I dive into the reality of living through a slower season in my business, and how my Founder Story helped me reflect on where I once was, and where I am today.

As entrepreneurs we often get caught up in the weeds. We work so hard in our business - day in and day out -  that we don't often reflect on the path that navigated us to the actual business idea, and/or celebrate how far we've come.

Today I am sharing my Founder Story and how it's helped me get out of the slump from the dreaded "slower season."

I'd love to hear your Founder Story. Send me a DM on Instragram. What lead you to your business? Let me know by clicking here.  The Podcast Club on Instagram

In honour of National Irish Whiskey Day, today's After-Work Drink is an Irish Buck. Please find the recipe below.

    Irish Buck

1 ½ oz of Irish Whiskey

    1/4 oz lime juice

    Ginger Ale

Add ice to a tall glass. Add Irish Whiskey and lime juice. Top with ginger ale and stir.
