Each episode, I ask my guests one simple question: If there was ONE lesson you would want to share to the world on how you have built a life of meaning, what would it be? From there, we explore the experiences that helped them learn that lesson and how it has made an impact on their life. Short and powerful lessons to help you live your life in accordance with your values.

16: The Power of Simplifying Your Life w/ Bryan Sagray
Bryan Sagray grew up simple. Farm life, hard work, strong values. He then went on to medical school, became a successful surgeon, and enjoyed the lifestyle that position offered him. But that was just the beginning of his journey - His journey back to simplicity.
Society today rewards achievement. The pace has been set to always be going and connected to something. I am grateful to have Bryan on the show to share his story about how he has found a way to find the quiet in the "busyness" of life.

15: Dreaming and Taking Action - How to Do Both w/ Dan and Kay Ockey
Are you a dreamer but your head is stuck in the clouds? Are you the executor but have a hard time seeing the big picture?
For the Ockey's, Dan was the dreamer; Kay was the executor. With $20,000 of debt when they first got married, they struggled to figure out how to leverage their strengths in order to create stability and tackle their dreams. But once they figured it out, they realized that they had something that could change the lives of countless other couples in powerful ways.
Kay and Dan Ockey are the co-founders of Centsei Financial, and I am thrilled to have them on the show to share the lessons that have helped them harness the power of both dreaming and executing on those dreams.

12: Changing Our Relationship with Failure w/ Caleb Whittle
Caleb Whittle used to be very afraid of failure. In fact, he would skip out on opportunities that mattered to him because of this fear. Until one day, he learned how to make a mindset shift that completely changed his relationship with failure, and has ultimately led him to greater fulfillment in life.
Caleb is active on LinkedIn, where he posts content daily on marketing and leadership, and has - in my opinion - has one of the strongest GIF games on all of LinkedIn.
Additionally, he works as a marketing and strategy consultant. Follow and contact him on LinkedIn
Caleb is also the creator and host of Everyday Intrapreneurs, his podcast centered on chatting with amazing people who exhibit entrepreneurship skills within an organization.

11: Storytelling, Entrepreneurship, & Childbirth (Not in that order) w/ Eva Daniel
Eva Daniel has helped some of the nation's most influential people learn how to craft and tell their story. On today's episode, Eva shares how she got the courage to live the story she had always wanted for herself, and then puts me through a storytelling bootcamp for your entertainment!
Eva posts daily on how to become a more impactful speaker, writer, and storyteller. She also coaches 1:1 with clients through her consulting business, The Speak Shop. Follow her and reach out to her on LinkedIn.
It's the New Year... and goal-making abounds! One BIG reason that goals fail, however, is that they are not centered on our values.
When we REALLY know what is deeply important to us, then we can set goals that are in line with those things. And that makes our goals MUCH more powerful.

STELLAR PODCAST!
Stellar podcast, I have loved listening to these episodes. Michael has the ability to ask deep questions, and then listen to the answer. I especially loved the episode on “yeah, buts” with Tony Overbay. Needed that listen to help me get going on some projects that I am passionate about outside my 9-5!
