Chris and Dan Powers are hockey players from York, Maine.
An adventurer at heart, Chris is fluent in zero languages and still cries when he gets his haircut. He tried to kill Dan in the womb, despite being two years older than him. According to one anonymous source, he’s never lost a Super Smash Bros free-for-all.
Dan is convinced fire isn’t real, a belief that has cost him thousands in property damage. At age 3, he invented the “low five” but has yet to receive credit to this day. He can eat more shrimp cocktail than any living creature.

Netters Boys Can’t Miss
Chris and Dan Powers are the real deal! These guys have perfected the art of entertaining hockey podcasting. With engaging and charismatic personalities, they cover the best sport in the world in a way that has something for everyone. From interviews with NHL players that are fun, interesting, and far from the same old hockey conversations to honest takes that separate them from the heard of humdrum hockey media, I look forward to this show every week; both during the season and the dog days of summer. Just like Patrik Stefan became notorious for missing an empty net, Dan and Chris should get the spotlight as the new stars of hockey media. Their undeniable energy gets me pumped up to play 11:00 PM rec league hockey games and consume as much hockey as I can on a daily basis, just for the love of the game. The Empty Netters pod hits the twine every time…I’ll never skip an episode. Thanks, boys!
