Every time we buy an item - a book, food, a gym membership - there are two prices we pay.

The first price is what we pay in dollars to buy the item. But the second price is the price we pay in time and effort to get the benefit of the item.

Unfortunately, many times, we pay the first price but don't pay the second. This imbalance is an effect of our modern consumer society. It is also a cause of some of our mental and physical health issues.

In this Eye2Eye episode, I discusses the two prices we pay and how we can change this negative cycle many of us are in. It's an interesting idea that I think will help us view our behaviours and purchases differently.
