The Spook Show: a forgotten piece of American entertainment from a time when ghosts would tour the country, booking theaters and guaranteeing a night of chills and screams to those daring enough to purchase a ticket.

The spook show in its classic form is long gone, a product of a society that no longer exists. But there are those who still remember a simpler time--a time when spirits would manifest themselves in a darkened theater and, for the price of a ticket, one lucky audience member could leave the theater with a real dead body...

Takes me back

I’ve been following the progress of the film for a few years and look forward to seeing it. But I was not aware of the podcast. This afternoon I listened to the Don Glut interview and it was terrific. There was a lot of nostalgia from when I was a kid and went to a Spookshow. I also remember reading about Don and reading his magazine writings . His filmmaking was an inspiration to a generation of us and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some very successful filmmakers and special effects people who also remember his work.
I look forward to future episodes, as well as catching up on the past ones.

Thank you.
Gary
