Mark and Eoin - A Character of Dublin City
Mark and Eoin have a chat about an infamous character of Dublin, Pat the Hat. As per usual, we get sidetracked 1000 times during our conversation but hopefully we manage to give you some kind of an idea of this incredible man's life.

Taylor Byrne from Dublin - A conversation with one of Ireland's next great musicians.
My guest today, Taylor Byrne, is someone who I came to know last year through our live events in Dublin. He’s an incredible young musician, and every time I see him play or listen to his music, I wonder why he’s not yet playing stadiums around the world. One day soon Taylor, and please, don’t forget us when you get there!
Our conversation goes into his journey into music, his upcoming EP which he will begin releasing on April 5th and a bit of life in general. You can check out his socials and his music through the links in the description of this episode.
If you are enjoying the podcast, it would mean so much to me if you could share it with a friend, or leave a rating or review. Those small acts are the lifeblood of this show and without them, unfortunately we will just get lost amongst the noise. For those of you who have already done so, I cannot thank you enough.

Mark and Eoin - Discovering Germany: Octoberfest, 99 Balloons and a lot more!
Inspired by the diversity of cultures we can see here in Ireland, Mark and Eoin, are going to explore the cultures of the world, celebrating our differences and uncovering our similarities.
Our listener, Alex, joined us to talk about his culture in Germany. We make a terrible attempt to learn more about the German culture and have a bit of a laugh at the same time.
If you'd like to tell us about your culture, contact us on Instagram or email!

Pronunciation
I’m shocked that the young man conducting the interviews does not pronounce the T. He says bu, instead of but. Every sentence that has a word ending in a t is the same, no t pronounced.
This young man claims that he was an English teacher. I can’t imagine how that was possible. I do like the podcast but will stop listening if this continues.
I am from Dublin, living in NY. Cheers.
Thought-provoking topics, terrific hosts, and fascinating guests!
What more can you ask for in a podcast? I was fortunate enough to listen to today (12 June 2023) episode featuring Mollie of @irishwithmollie on IG and irishwithmollie.com. She speaks so eloquently about the beauty and richness of the Irish language, and the perils of losing it. She is so passionate about its preservation, but what I found most fascinating is that in her view, the preservation is in celebrating it and digging into it’s profoundly beautiful and often very funny constructs and nuances. Making it relevant and re-energising people to it through accessibility, humor, and making it part of day-to-day life, not just afterthought on street signs. This was a beautiful discussion, and the host really found a way to ask meaningful and engaging questions with kindness and grace. I look forward to listening to more of this!
