5 Star Review with Caveat

I’m giving this podcast 5 stars because, all in all, I think it’s crucial for the dance community — to have shows such as this. And it’s really important to support and spread positivity! The hosts are super fun, warm and knowledgeable. I love their banter and stories. And they provide tremendous insight into the dance community.
All that said, a few constructive points: the amount of sound effects they incorporate into each episode is bizarre, off-putting and just plain distracting. Sometimes it feels like an 8 year old is editing the show.
Also, the guest interviews — which are why I tend to hit play — seem to be but a fraction of the actual show. For example, Kevin Stea’s interview was only 14 min (of a 42 min ep) and Michael Rooney was given 12 min to chat (of a 32 min ep). Unless these guests have a hard out, it seems strange to have such short conversations. I definitely would love to hear much more from such esteemed guests. But again, all in all, worth the listen — regardless — if you’re a dancer in the industry (or trying to be).
