    A Horrible Death to Die

Even though the doctors present at her death and at her autopsy quickly concluded that she had been poisoned with strychnine, this narrative would soon be changed. Those with the university chose to declare her death natural, out of fear that any other cause -- murder, suicide, would open the school, and her estate, to further scrutiny.

Interesting!

Overall, I found it well done and interesting. My main gripe is that she seems to revere government food inspectors as some kind of heroes, while I think of them as parasites.

Well researched, Great Pace

This is so interesting to hear these Bay Area stories in more detail than I have ever heard before. I grew up eating Santos’s linguica. It was amazing. I remember as kid going into the shop. Thank you this detailed research. Jane’s story was always a rumored one. It was fascinating to hear all of the layers and Possibilities. Really a great podcast. I have sent it to a lot of friends and family.
