She is an active researcher, as well as an experienced physiotherapy clinician working in chronic pain management as part of the Chronic Pain Management interdisciplinary team of Groote Schuur Hospital. She leads a team of clinician researchers working in both perioperative pain and chronic pain management. Their aim is to develop, test and implement effective, culturally appropriate and sustainable treatments.
