One Guy One Roll Herocydides

Happy Spooktober everyone and welcome back to the One Guy One Roll Podcast! In honor of the spookiest month of the year, I have decided to start a new mini series using Lichdom! A lovely indie solo RPG in which you play as a sorcerer attempting to achieve immortality by ascending (descending?) into a lich. This game is quite simple and heavily relies upon storytelling delivered through prompts from a standard deck of 52 playing cards. While episode 1 ended up having a lot more world and character development than I expected, I was able to squeeze a little bit of proper gameplay into the episode. Things are going to be quite a challenge for Vrakh the Imperishable! I had an absolute blast creating this episode and I hope that y’all enjoy listening.

In honor of the spookiest day of the year, we are diving back into the twisted mind of Vrakh the Imperishable. Once again, I absolutely loved using the super simple indie solo RPG Lichdom to continue to tell the story of a mortal sorcerer journeying along the path to inevitable immortality. Much like in episode 1, things have not gotten much easier for the infamous Vrakh as our streak of bad luck continues. Fortunately, we are slowly gaining in power and knowledge in our quest to ascend (descend?) into Lichdom.

Hello everyone and welcome back to the One Guy One Roll podcast! Even though we are no longer in the spookiest month of the year, we are diving back into Lichdom and the evil and twisted mind of Vrakh the (not yet) Imperishable.Unlike in the first two episodes, things appear to maybe be getting slightly better for our infamous anti-hero as he attempts to wiggle his way into freedom. Welcome back to the newest episode of the One Guy One Roll podcast! We are once again playing Lichdom and diving into the twisted and corrupted mind of Vrakh the (hopefully soon to be) Imperishable. Welcome to One Guy One Roll the solo roleplaying podcast where I play roleplaying games for your listening pleasure. We are heading back into Lichdom with episode 5! This is the first episode where Vrakh really starts to make some reasonable progress in his quest to achieve immortality as a lich. As long as the cards continue to play nice, it seems possible to wrap this season up in one or two more episodes. I am unfortunately going to be gone for the last two weeks of December for work, but hopefully I will be able to publish one final episode for 2023 next week!

I am so happy to be back after the holidays and able to make yet another episode for the One Guy One Roll solo roleplaying podcast! Once again we are diving back into the lovely rules light RPG Lichdom where we are exploring the twisting story of how Vrakh the (not yet) Imperishable achieved his ascension into immortality through becoming a lich. Things really start to come together during the exciting episode and we are starting to get really close to our first attempt to conduct the ritual. I do hope to be able to produce and edit another podcast next week, but between last minute work calls, getting sick and having our furnace go out during record freezing conditions, it has already been a bit of a rocky start to 2024.
