This Morning Walk podcast invites you to experience the transformative power of a simple walk, now part of Blind Nil Audio from Executive Producers Chip and Joanna Gaines.

Join hosts Alex Elle and Libby DeLana as they share the lessons they’ve learned on their walking paths, both individually and together.

Alex - A New York Times BestSelling Author and writing coach living in DC with her husband and daughters - and Libby - a Creative Director based on both coasts with grown children - started This Morning Walk Podcast to reflect on the ways a daily walk keeps them grounded in their day-to-day lives. As Alex likes to say - “It’s deeper than walking. It’s about slowing down, looking up, and finding clarity in your daily life.”

It’s a practice. A mindset. A way forward. And ultimately, it’s a new path.

    Walking with Alex’s Daughter

    Walking with Alex’s Daughter

Alex’s 16-year old daughter sits down for a special episode of This Morning Walk. With Libby and Alex, she reflects on this period of her life with a level of insight and wisdom that is beyond her years, revealing how she uses journaling as a tool for self-reflection and growth, the necessity of setting personal boundaries as a safeguard for authenticity, and steering clear of the relentless currents of comparison on social media and the ceaseless pursuit of approval that it often brings.

    Clarity, Communication, and Capacity

    Clarity, Communication, and Capacity

They explore the importance of setting boundaries and clearly communicating our capacity in relationships and also emphasize seeking reciprocity and mutual support when needed. Like a hug from a good friend!

My sincerest gratitude for these two ladies and the message they are sharing. Life is in a fact a journey we are walking and knowing we walk this together through similar life trials and tribulations one step at a time with a cup of chai as reward is in fact the “why” of it all. 🤗

Cheerleaders

After listening to a coach tell me that I need to listen to a warm, comforting voice, and hear their thoughts and feelings I immediately thought of you, Alex and Libby! I am so warmed by your words of wisdom, your kindness, your truth, and the joy that you bring in talking about your walk, plural - walks and all the things that are processed during your time spent on each journey. I could probably write a chapter after each episode, but I will stick to the one topic of finding your cheerleaders and making sure they’re truly in your corner. I lost mine. It is now 10 years and it has taken me that many years to discover that there are people who say they are my cheerleaders, but maybe are a contradiction. I’m finally able to even listen to others. And to take steps that have reawakened my spirit and allow me to reimagine what my journey looks like, and how to open my heart in a loving and healing way to self care. Many cheers to you both!
