HAUNTED: The Audio Drama tells the story of reclusive alcoholic writer James Hunter, bubbly enthusiastic podcaster Abigail Corbin and police officer Dan Cowell as they investigate strange and seemingly unexplainable phenomenon. Told in a classic serial format with episodes raging from suspenseful thrillers, to spine tingling horrors to laugh-out-loud comedies, HAUNTED: The Audio Drama is a horror adventure series that feels like Doctor Who crossed with The X Files.
Season 2 begins on April 16th 2023 and sees our trio playing a nationwide game of cat and mouse as they try to capture the wicked occultist Karl Trevino following his deadly antics in Greenvale in season 1. As they push further and further into the unexplained however, Dan and Abigail are forced to confront the idea that their friend James Hunter might not be who he says he is.

Abigail is cornered in the collapsed mine shaft my a mysterious figure who tells her she's walked into hell. He claims he doesn't want to hurt her, but can she trust the mysterious stranger? Meanwhile, Dan and James make their way into town but are almost killed as soon as they enter. Something terrible happened here, but will they be able to find out what it was before it kills them?

ONLY A 5 year age difference
This is a pretty good show (not the best, not the worst) but it really irks me that James and Abigail are only FIVE YEARS APART in age, and they act as if 20 years separate them. She’s always making cracks about him being old, he’s always acting like an old G-rated sketch of a Bukowski character. When it’s like… yall… are practically the same age. Idk if it bothers me to the point of having to stop listen, but maybe! Also all the comparisons to movies and TV shows make the writing feel kinda trite. “Like that old show Dexter” “clown make up like the Joker Batman movie”. I get wanting to fall back onto those comparisons, but it just feels lazy. Sorry… I know this is kinda a mean review. It’s a good show otherwise. Thanks for creating it! Helps drown out the bad thoughts while I’m working.

I like to let them stack so I can listen in a binge to listen while I work or in the yard.
the sound effects, storyline are top notch & very unique. I haven’t found too many that get me as much involved and hooked as haunted! Please don’t stop making seasons 🤍
Great Story
Great writing, characters, stories.
But the commercials for gross burgers and baby coughing up blood are simply repulsive !
I’ve never written a review to express my disgust for particular advertisements, but these need to go.
