Today, my worlds are colliding. I am SO excited to share that I am sitting down with debut romance author and former ABC's Bachelorette, Hannah Brown, to discuss her upcoming book "Mistakes We Never Made".
Prior to joining Bookstagram, I was all about creating online content revolving around ABC's The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise -- so what a treat it was to be pitched an opportunity to sit down with one of my favourite leads ever - Miss Hannah B!!!!
Hannah's autobiography "God Bless This Mess" was one of the earlier books I reviewed on my page, so I was so thrilled to get to chat with her all about her experience writing a fictional romance novel. We of course chatted all about her time on reality TV, the characters she met and the experiences she lived through - which all then played a major hand and somewhat of an inspiration to the characters, tropes, and plot lines in this book!
This was SUCH a fun episode to record, and I can't wait for you to all listen to it! Since the book releases next month (May 7), this episode is completely spoiler free and the best prequel for pre-ordering your own copy right now!

We didn't go too deep into the story with this one, because it's best to go into the book blind! But what a fun conversation!

Today I'm joined once again by romance author extraordinaire, Tia Williams, to chat about her newest book, "A Love Song For Ricki Wilde".
Tia has been one of my favourite romance writers for a few years now, so I am so excited to have her back on the show to chat about her newest book. Since we last connected, Tia's writing career has continued to blossom.
Her book "The Perfect Find" was turned into a Netflix film, her other novel "Seven Days In June" is currently being adapted into a TV series where Tia serves as an Executive Producer, and she managed to write this latest novel in the shortest amount of time!!
This was such a fun conversation. I loved getting to chat with Tia about what she's been up to, and really dive into the inspiration behind this story, the research that went into it, and all of the characters - without any spoilers!

Get Lit with Alison Rose Greenberg, author of "Maybe Once, Maybe Twice"
DID YA MISS ME?! Today I'm joined by screenwriter-turned-romance author Alison Rose Greenberg, to chat about her latest book "Maybe Once, Maybe Twice".
Alison's book is my favourite read of 2023, and upon reading it I immediately knew I had to come out of my winter hibernation, and record this very special episode for all of you!
We spoke in depth about Alison's writing background, the inspiration behind this story in particular, how she managed to write a love story in THREE different timelines, some of the really tough but important plot lines included, AND THAT ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was such an incredible episode to record, as I learned so much from Alison's POV and *somehow* fell even more in love with these characters (didn't know that was possible!!)
Speaking of these characters, you will definitely want to listen to the end of this episode as there may or may not be a MAJOR teaser on Alison's upcoming book about a character you may want to hear from.....

I was so excited to chat with Kate after reading her book - since it reminded me so much of one of my fave romcoms "When Harry Met Sally". I was in for such a treat as to where this conversation would go!!
From learning about Kate's writing background, to all of the personal anecdotes and learnings she put into this story - it was such an interesting conversation. I loved all of the representation in this book and it was so nice to dive deep into the inspiration and intention behind them with Kate.

Obsessed
I learned very recently of this podcast and I became instantly hooked. Lianna has such an easy going interview style, she seems so easy to chat with and she loves romance wholeheartedly! Do some research
I listened to the Hannah Ornstein episode and I was put off almost immediately. The podcaster mentioned reading Head Over Heels and was excited to see the author was writing her second book. The book in the episode was the authors fourth book, which can be found with a simple google search. There were more instances in the episode where it was clear the podcaster didn’t really understand the book industry or the author. I will not be listening again.

I’ll never get sick of hearing Lianna talk and all of her author interviews are so interesting! I immediately add each book to my TBR and look forward to the next episode every week! Keep going!!
