Should tongue tie surgery be considered an emergency? Episode 352

In this encore episode, Lisa discusses the controversy of timing of tongue tie release, including hospital identification of tongue ties and the possible downsides of early treatment without a complete functional assessment. She discusses why her practice has evolved from recommending immediate release, to a slower approach, utilizing a holistic, team view, and how this is leading to better experiences and outcomes.
