Episode 5 - It's All About Accountability
While world leaders gathered in Glasgow to discuss climate change policies, locals filled the streets to protest and demand action. Climate refugees who had been displaced from their homes due to unlivable atmospheric conditions shared stories about how they'd been let down by their governments' inabilities to act fast enough to save them. Out of all of the topics of conversation, taking accountability was the most prevalent. Penn State Bellisario student Meredith Lea is joined by Daniel Connolly, a journalism master's student at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, to discuss these topics and more on this episode of "COP Talk: Across The Pond."
