Great content but obnoxious hosts

I was really looking forward to the content of this podcast because they hit so many points that are hard to find. But the style is a little lacking and the dialogue is a bit obnoxious.

Don’t Waste Your Time

These guys know nothing about film noir. The podcasts are just summaries of the movie plots, without any true commentary, analysis, or knowledge of film noir history. True noir fans, who read Alain Silver, Foster Hirsch, Imogen Sarah Smith, and of course Eddie Muller will immediately realize this podcast is not a serious exploration of noir. They also copied the cover page logo from the great noir podcast called “Out of the Past” by Richard Edwards and Shannon Clute, which I don’t think was a nice thing to do.

Bob and Linda Belcher Talk About Movies

What’s not to love? I’ve been learning film noir through this podcast. These two feel like close friends now, but they don’t know me. I look forward to their conversation every week.
