Karla's life now in the most remote areas in Australia are a far cry from where she originates in the big smoke of Sydney. Despite being raised in Brisbane, Dave found himself at home in Queensland's shearing industry where he has spent the majority of his time working ever since. Even after an accident led to the amputation of his right arm, this didn't stop Dave from doing what he loved and he returned to the industry with the aid of prosthetic limbs, designed specifically for work in the Woolshed.
