Welcoming Ramadan this year, can be extremely difficult with what’s taking place around Al-Aqsa Mosque to our fellow Palestinian brothers & sisters. This episode is a mere reminder that with a Ramadan Like no Other, we also need to Ramadan Like no Other. In other words, we need to Ramadan with and like a Palestinian.

With the whole world witnessing a genocide taking place, every Muslim - and human for that matters - needs to speak out against it. As we’re taught by Prophet Muhammed if we can’t fight injustice with our hands, then let it be with our voices.

Among the beautiful names and attributes of Allah is ”Al-Wadud”. In Arabic, there are so many words to express different layers of love. Allah’s love is translated to His creation in every detail of their lives. That’s why Allah used this name in particular to convey the comprehensive meaning of love and care.

Seerah in Arabic is used to refer to someone’s biography, and is root wise related to the word “journey” as well. In other words when we go through the seerah of the prophet pbuh it is as if we’re walking on a journey through every chapter of his beautiful life.

As we recite Surah Al-Fatihah on a daily basis, we keep asking Allah to guide us to the straight path.
What is meant by the straight path in Islam?
Why are there so many different groups and names of Muslims? And how can we stick to the balanced straight path in today’s world?
