    S4 Ep9 - Lionhearts Fitness

Shell first took on OCR as a bucket list dream, and fell in love at first sight.

When her son Luccketta lost his best friend to suicide, she did the only thing she knew how to help him, and got him involved in Spartan Races. This lit something in him, and he realised that if all children had access to this sport, it might help them, and so Lionsheart Fitness was born.

Since then they have been serving the community and building the OCR community up with love, safety of being and physical strength, and they've never looked back.

Loved the first episode

I appreciate so much that the very first episode spotlighted a female athlete and talked about the struggles of motherhood and training. I love seeing the focus on female athletes, especially in male dominated sport. Also, nice to hear the voices of athletes outside of where I am in the US.

Off to a Great Start

I was cautiously optimistic hearing about yet another new OCR podcast but so far so good! I believe that with most of the OCR podcasts out there there is a lack of attention to the incredible athletes outside of Canada and the US. A spotlight on the best OCRWC athletes and consistent quality will keep me subscribed!
