    On Valentine’s Day 1975, a couple found the body of a teenage boy hanging from a tree along Highway 23, south of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. The boy, around 16-17 years old, 6 feet tall, and 160 pounds, had brown hair, brown eyes, and slightly protruding front teeth. He wore a maroon and yellow shirt, blue pants, mismatched socks, and no shoes.
    A bedsheet tied into a slip knot was used, and his death was ruled a suicide. A sealed jar with a suicide note was found at the base of the tree. Despite a national search and over 300 families visiting to identify him, John Doe remains unidentified. One family thought he was their missing son, Charles Wallace Jr., but his mother confirmed he was not.

    Anne sent a selfie to her boyfriend, indicating her attempt to brave the rain en route to her destination. This would be the last communication from her. Concern grew when she failed to return, prompting her family to report her missing immediately.
    For ten agonizing days, Anne's loved ones, along with authorities, scoured the area in search of any trace of her. The discovery of Anne's coat on October 3rd, followed by her bike on October 5th, and her backpack on October 6th, only deepened the sense of dread and urgency.
    On October 9th, a breakthrough came when suspect Michael Panhuis was arrested under suspicion of involvement in Anne's disappearance. Shockingly, just two days later, he confessed to the crime.
    The disappearance of Anne Faber and the subsequent arrest and confession sent shockwaves through the community and raised questions about safety and security. Please get rid of the music! I can’t concentrate on the story with the loud distracting music. You ladies do a good job with story telling and I would love to listen without the music 😭🥺
