So Many Gems!

Wow, wow, wow! Leysa dropped so many gems in episode 17, “I Started Over!” If you are a person that always gets in your own way, then this episode is for you!! I find it incredible that she was an “example” for her brother who relocated to Florida three weeks after she moved; she was the nudge that he needed. One thing I have learned, that Leysa reinforced, is mindset is key. A great example of this is Leysa’s approach to being open to the possibilities and “…attaching herself to the idea of creating new experiences,” which is an excellent reminder for myself.

Inspiring story

What an inspiring, amazing, determined, brave and strong young woman Leysa is! Her family must be so very proud of her!

As Americans, we tend to take so much of what we have for granted. This includes all of our freedoms (religious, political, personal) and our many other opportunities (educational, professional, etc).

Leysa’s podcast episodes about her journey from where she came from to where she is now are truly amazing! God has blessed her in so many ways. Leysa pays her blessings forward by encouraging others to always push towards being the best version of themselves. She is a hard worker and shows gratitude for her blessings by inspiring others through her stories, supporting their learning in the hair care industry and by providing professional hair care training opportunities.

I’m so grateful that Leysa is my hair stylist! What a PHENOMENAL woman of color!
