Rita nitz

I have grown up hearing about this story & as a young gay man my mother drilled it into my head that “cruising” can be dangerous because her friend was Micheal. There is a book about Rita & her crimes & she was in an episode of women behind bars, just an fyi for anyone wanting to dig deeper. Love your podcast! Anna-Jonesboro is my hometown so a lot of these cases sparked urban legends we grew up with. Also, as far as the Mark Gibbs story, I won’t make an excuse for patricide & matricide but Richie Gibbs had a history of violence with his wife. We lived next to them in the housing when Mark was little & we could hear the fighting through the walls. I believe there is so much more to the story & mark just got plead out rather than having his whole story told. In a small town, the worst thing that could happen is for the whole town to be talking about your family.

Love this podcast

Chris and Gina are the best. They both have the voice for podcasting. Gina is very knowledgeable about the cases she covers. I love that Chris gets so upset about the crimes that happen in this world. They are good people who speak out against crime and i am going enjoy listening to every podcast they have recorded. Thanks Chris and Gina.
