Aiden Thomas is a trans, Latinx, New York Times Bestselling Author with an MFA in Creative Writing from Mills College. Originally from Oakland, California, they now make their home in Portland, OR. Aiden is notorious for not being able to guess the endings of books and movies, and organizes their bookshelves by color.

Rebecca F. Kuang is the award-winning, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Poppy War trilogy and Babel: An Arcane History, as well as the forthcoming Yellowface. A Marshall Scholar, she has an MPhil in Chinese Studies from Cambridge and an MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies from Oxford; she is now pursuing a PhD in East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale, where she studies diaspora, contemporary Chinese literature, and Asian American literature.

Mary H.K. Choi is a Korean American author, editor, television and print journalist. She is the author of the young adult novels Emergency Contact (2018) and Permanent Record (2019). She is the culture correspondent on Vice News Tonight on HBO and was previously a columnist at Wired and Allure magazines as well as a freelance writer. Mary Hyun Kyung Choi was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to Hong Kong before her first birthday. She lived there until moving to Texas just before she turned 14. Choi's parents owned and managed a Korean restaurant to support their family. She attended a large public high school in a suburb of San Antonio, then college at the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Textile and Apparel. After college, Choi lived in New York until moving to Los Angeles circa 2014, a decision she described in Oh, Never Mind. In a 2021 talk at House of SpeakEasy's Seriously Entertaining program, Choi detailed her struggle with bulimia that lasted into adulthood.

Sue Lynn Tan is the award-winning author of Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Heart of the Sun Warrior, a romantic fantasy duology inspired by the legend of Chang’e, the Chinese moon goddess. Her books will be translated into sixteen languages, and are USA Today and Sunday Times bestsellers. Born in Malaysia, Sue Lynn studied in London and France, before moving to Hong Kong with her family. Her love for stories began with a gift from her father, her first compilation of fairytales from around the world. After devouring every fable she could find in the library, she discovered fantasy books, spending much of her childhood lost in magical worlds. When not writing or reading, she enjoys exploring the hills, lakes, and temples around her home.

Gabrielle Zevin is an American author and screenwriter. Zevin was born in New York City. Zevin's father, who is American-born, has Ashkenazi Jewish, Russian, Lithuanian, and Polish ancestry. Her mother was born in Korea and emigrated to the United States when she was 9 years old. The two met in high school in Connecticut and later worked for IBM. She grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and graduated from Spanish River Community High School in 1996. She enrolled at Harvard University, where she studied English with a concentration in American Literature. While at Harvard, she met her partner, Hans Canosa and graduated in 2000. For nearly a decade, Zevin lived in Manhattan before moving to Los Angeles in 2012, where she presently lives with Canosa.
