Each week, Derek and Lisa Dokter, will discuss a topic that falls under a category of either Bible, Bull (shit, hunky, honky, crap, etc.), or Booze. Each episode will be 15 - 60 minutes, maybe longer on complicated topics. Sometimes alcohol will be involved, sometimes it won't. Derek has an undergraduate in philosophy and a master's in divinity. Lisa has 90% of an undergraduate in Biblical theology. We enjoy many TV shows, various genres of music, a menagerie of liquors, and debating the issues that face the Christian church of America.

Derek and Lisa argue about what eye candy means, whether or not Brida's story arch was fulfilling, and where the movie will ultimately find the cast and characters of this much loved hit. Episode 3.1 - Life, Death, & Everything Between
TRIGGER WARNING! This episode covers death, abortion, sexual assault/rape, incest, and abuse. Listener discretion is advised.
In this hard hitting episode on life and death, explaining what caused the extended pause in the release of the season three premiere, Lisa and Derek tackle, or rather wrestle with, the topic of abortion and the current political climate that has the Supreme Court of America poised to overturn Roe v. Wade. The determination is ultimately until ethically proven statistically, abortion should come down to personal choice. There is currently no metric for deciding whether an abortion is detrimental to society or beneficial and until such a time as the statistics can prove that is detrimental, it should be left to the individual who is pregnant to determine what is best for their body. This is a longer one, so buckle up and weigh in on social media. We'd love to know your feelings and opinions on this topic.

Bible: Christian Resolutions
In this week's episode, Derek and Lisa talk about the pitfalls of resolutions and what those pitfalls mean to Christians. Are goals being used as tools or metrics for success (or failure)? Ultimately, the conclusion is drawn in typical Dokter Knows Best fashion where love of God, love of self, and love for others is the true goal and if a resolution doesn't fall into those categories, then it's probably not good for you. But listen in and make your own determination.

Bull: Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home
SPOILER ALERT! This week's episode dives deep into both the Marvel/Disney TV show "Hawkeye" and the Marvel/Disney Movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home." If you haven't seen either, and want to, avoid this episode as there are major spoilers ahead.
This week, Derek and Lisa dive deeper into the implication of two spoilers. One for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and the other for "Hawkeye." The implications being that the MCU and Disney are gearing up to bring back the cast of "Daredevil" from Netflix. Grandfathering into the MCU both Matthew Murdock and Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin). As always, the discussion twists and turns, but ultimately revolves around both the TV show and the movie that had characters from Netflix's "Daredevil" premiering on the same weekend in December. Part 2: Christmas

Feel Good Silliness
This podcast just makes me giggle. The husband and wife team making talking to each other seem so simple. I love how every week is a little different and they call each other out on their individual “bull honky.” I will keep listening to them until they give it up!
