EP.61 The Martyr to Magic cycle - from good to bad and back again. Thoughts for the New Year.

EP.61 The Martyr to Magic cycle - from good to bad and back again. Thoughts for the New Year.

Hi - I'm back. Well kind of. I found a few episodes that I recorded earlier this year that still felt more relevant than ever. This year has felt full, and as I like to say crunchy. Not a horrible year but definitely not smooth. Anyone else? In a reading I had with Jenni from @themediumexperience - she spoke about how she saw my business name. And it was such a great reminder. We are constantly growing and learning and to think we have arrived permanently is some what laughable. We thrive on grow so it makes sense that we would also have to accept the hard part that comes with all the good of expansion. Just a reminder, you're not doing it wrong.

Let me know how you year has been and what you are looking forward to in 2024.

    Sending so much love,

EP.60 The Haunting, Ghost stories from my past and the Criterion Hotel

EP.60 The Haunting, Ghost stories from my past and the Criterion Hotel

As Halloween approaches and as this eclipse season as had me thinking about my past. I started to think about my experience with the ghost and wanted to see if others had documented anything from this hotel too. And jackpot. There tons of documented stories, from decades ago to current day.

It reminded me that what I felt wasn't a dream.

And I had so much fun learning more about the history of this hotel and pub. As well as hearing others experiences here to help validate what I had also felt.

Have you had any ghost encounters? If so, I would love to hear. Tell me more over on Instagram @frommartyrtomagic

For photos and more info about the hotel and hauntings see below.

EP.59 Committing to your GOALS, writing my book and facing demons and inner mean girl

EP.59 Committing to your GOALS, writing my book and facing demons and inner mean girl

I'mmmm back after a little back to school break. Recovering from a busy season and a bit of burn out.

Committing to and goal setting can be so fun, and exciting. Dreamy. But once we start working towards them - this is the hard part. We can talk ourselves out of it. The EGO or self talk comes up loud. Who am I? or insert your inner mean girl here.

Here is a little of what I'm going through as I start my book writing process. I'm so excited for it but it's also kicked up a new level of fear and ego to work through. Yet, this is what I live for. Growth. If we aren't growing we are dying. But also sometimes we are resting.

And highly recommend to write yourself a letter when you are feeling inspired, so you can read back to yourself on your bad days. Or call a friend who believes in you.

You are amazing. We've got this.

Jenna Bigs ,

So thankful I found this

In my journey to learn more about myself and do better, I somehow stumbled on this podcast and I’m so thankful I did. She has a wealth of helpful topics and insight and I’m really enjoying listening. It’s hard not to feel disappointed that I didn’t hear all of this before my life got to where it is now, but looking forward instead of focusing on the rear view mirror, all I can truly be is grateful that I have this now and it popped into my suggested listening. Thank you for sharing.
