170- When you say you don't have enough energy

170- When you say you don't have enough energy

I recently realized how much I was telling myself I didn't have enough energy, so I dug into that. This episode is what I learned-- a totally different way of looking at this statement and what it means. Phases of trauma response come into play. If you are looking for more energy, this episode is for you!

Plus, I give a pretty big announcment at the end of the episode, both as an example of energy and as an announcement for you, the listener.

169- None of this matters, an experience with inner child work

I had an experience recently through some inner child work, in which I learned that none of this matters and you can do whatever you want. There is no final grade for being a good mom or coach or wife, or whatever it is you do. You can relax because nobody has power over you (except you). Listen in as I describe my experience and the steps for you to start doing your own inner child work on your own.

    166- The Power of Identity

I've been pondering how my identity or self-concepts are influencing following through on this book project I have. I thought I would share some of my insights as I've considered the power of identity. I talk about have conflicting identities, when letting go of identities threatens the ego and feels terrible, and how identity plays into the pride cycle from the scriptures. Enjoy!

Darla Trendler ,

I love the insights from Denita

You can tell Denita puts a lot of thought into each episode. I have loved the way she ties in gospel principles while sharing coaching. She is articulate in sharing her story and does it in a way that helps me examine my own story with love and compassion for myself. I always gain a new insight when I listen.
